Tony P.O.V
It was a Thursday and I told Pastor Jack that I would be skipping service. I wanted to go to Claire's church. I still lived at Claire's church I missed kissing her and her sneaking just to see me. I got ready in a pair of jean and a button up flannel. It was five minutes till chichi started so I walked down stairs and sat in the back of the church. I waited till service started no one recognized me but I thought it was good. The service started and Chris & Kristen sat together in the front. I wanted to talk to Kristen but I was afraid since the last time I saw her was 8 months ago. When ever I looked at Kristen I saw Claire in her.
"Hey man how are you?" Chris said while going in for a hand shake.
"I'm good could be better." I said
"Yeah well I hope you enjoy today's service." he said.
"Yeah thank you" I said.
I was reading the bible when a young girl came and sat next to me. She would scoot closer and closer to me.
"Hi but I couldn't help but notice you here, hi I'm Ashley." while going in for a handshake.
"Hi I'm Tony." She said.
"Well Tony it was nice meeting you." she said.
I thought of her as a nice young person but I couldn't rush into another relationship I missed claire to much to get into another one.
Ounce it hit 7 the service started.
We started to worship and sing to The Lord I felt better. At 7:30 we ended up finish worship and at 7:40 the door started to rattle and they opened.
Claire's P.O.V.
I got out of the car.
"Alright let's go." I said
we started walking toward the church the indoors were closed so we opened the first set of doors. Then I walked in and no body was in the sanctuary.
"Are you sure you can just go back if you want?" Reed asked
"No I'm positive." I said
As they opened the door to the church I had thoughts I wanted to cry I missed the church so bad. I walked straight down the aisle it went quiet I walked fast to the front I walked to my sister and Chris.
"Hi Chris". I said. During the time me and him spent a lot of time together he would came pray for me so he was the only that knew I was alive.
My sister wanted to cry oh my gosh what have I done
"Hi Kristen." I said while hugging her after that I ran fast until I bumped into a talk man I looked up.
"Hi Tony." I said I hugged him I didn't want to let go.
"Claire c'mon" Reed said
"Okay I guess bye Tony I love you". I said almost about to cry. I walked out fast but I hear everyone start talking.
"Wait!" I hear a voice behind me.
We all turned around
"C'mon miss Harris" Reed said.
"No wait." I said while walking towards Tony. "oh my gosh" I said
"Hi how are you?" he asked
I started tearing up "please Detective Reed let him come with us just for a bit." I said
"Fine only this one time." he said
"Come with us Tony" Reed said.
We all walked to the car and jumped in the car. One of the agents started the engine. As we passed by the entrance of my church everyone started coming out I looked I wish I was there saying hi and asking them so many question. I just hope that Chris would still keep his mouth shut he was the only one that really knew I was alive and knew where I was at. Imagine telling the whole church that I was alive and he knew all along people would thing he would be crazy.
"So" I said
"So" he paused. "how are you what happened?" he asked
"I survived the crash I was pretty bad the crash was every where on the news, internet and people were even talking about it. It's crazy how I had to risk my life so the people I love would be safe." I said
"You could have told me I would have been there with you." he said
"I tried but don't get mad when I tell you this Chris knew all along and he would update me about you." I said "trust me there wasn't a day I couldn't stop thinking about you and the person who would want to do this." I said
"Yeah I was looking into your case I really truly believe it's Jake." he said
"That would make sense he always sent me text but usually I never replied I asked where he got my number he told me not to worry about it. But the texts got more intense I felt like he was stalking me asking where I was going or where was I at." I said
"You wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for me look I'm so sorry." he said
"Don't be I'm safe and somewhat happy don't worry about it." I said while grabbing his hand.
"Okay so were going back to the hotel but after Tony is going to another car and going back to his church and you Claire would be going to another location." Reed said while flipping three his folder.
"I'm sorry" I said
"For what?" he said. "At least we have one night to eachother so we can do what ever you want." he said
"okay." I said
While pulling in the hotel lot I was surrounded by the protective custody. Me and Tony walked hand in hand in the room.
"Alright both of you guys have just tonight so goodnight and see you tommrrow mourning." Reed said
I sat on the living room couch and Tony had his jacket in his hand u stood by the door.
"Tony come here" I said.
"I thought you didn't really want to talk" he said
He sat next to me I couldn't stop smiling at him I was really happy.
