I woke up and noticed everything was still there. And Alicia had already fell asleep with me. I picked up my head carefully and tried not to wake her up. So I walked into the bathroom and washed up.
When I left the bathroom I went up to the desk and asked how Tony status was.
"The next 12 hours are going to be critical" the nurse said
I was able to see him through the windows all I could do is pray for him I didn't want to loose him.
I went into his room sat down and he had a breathing tube. I held his hand and prayed. I started crying I couldn't believe what had happened
I woke up the next morning and the nurse was checking his vitals.
" is everything going good?" I asked
"Yeah he's doing a lot better than yesterday which I know he should be waking up" the nurse said
" okay thank you" I said
"If your hungry there's a cafeteria" the nurse said
"Okay I'll head down then thank you" I said
I grabbed my stuff and heading the the elevator. I entered the cafeteria and got myself a muffin and juice. And headed back upstairs.
I exited the elevator and headed back to his room. I put my muffin and drink on the table and relaxed for a bit. While I was eating I heard a deep breath like if someone was waking up.
"Oh my gosh Tony" I said with a smile
" hey what happened" he asked looking all confused
" you don't remember you were stabbed and then you came here how are you feeling" I asked
"A bit of pain but I'll be fine" he said
"Are you hungry" I asked
"No is there water" he asked
" yeah let me go get the nurse" I said
I walked outside his room looking for the nurse.
"Hi excuse me um Tony woke up and he wants water" I said
"Yes mam I'll be there in a bit" the nurse said
" okay thank you" I said
I walked back to the room and sat and ate. The nurse came in with food and a picher of water.
"Thank you nurse" I said
"Yeah no problem" the nurse said
"Do you need help" I asked Tony
"No I'm fine" he said
"How long was I out for" he asked
"About 2 days why does it feel longer or what" I asked
"No I thought it happened yesterday" he said
"Oh wow" I said
" I'm glad I got to wake up with you on my side are you okay" he asked
"Yeah I'm fine I was worried like what would I do if you didn't fight to wake up or what would I do" I said
"It's okay you would have been fine" he said
"Really you think so" I asked
"Yeah hiding for a while and finally coming out it shows you've been through so much" he said
"That's true" I said
I heard a knock behind me it was Tony's parents.
"Oh hi" I said standing up and introduced myself to them.
"Hi you must be Claire" his mom said
" yes I am" I said
"Tony's told us so much about you I'm happy you too are getting married" she said
" I'm sorry what is your name" I asked
"It's Stephanie and this is Seth" Stephanie said
"Oh nice to meet you I'll give you guys some time" I said
"Oh no pleas stay" they said
"I have some calls to make" I said
"Okay see you in a bit" Stephanie said
I walked out and pulled my phone out and called Reed.
"Hey Reed it's me Claire" I said
"Hey Claire how are you" he said
"Good a lot better he woke up what going to happen after?" I asked
"Well you both have to go under protection again" he said
"Look I don't want to do this anymore why can't I live normal like live somewhere else but make sure I'm in custody in my house with Tony" I said
"Sure I think I can make this happen" he said
"Alright give me a call when everything is set and I'll keep you updated with Tony but he's with his parents" I said
" bye Claire" he said
I hung up the phone and walked back toward his room. I knocked on the door and his parents said to come in.
"Reed is going to call me back" I told Tony
"So Tony told me the good news you guys are getting married" his Stephanie said
"Yeah we are" I said looking down at my ring.
"I'm so happy for both of you" she said
"Thank you" I said
"What are you planning to do?" She said
"Oh I don't know we haven't talked about it" I said
"Oh okay well I'm here if anything" Stephanie said
"Thanks" I said
After a few days of Tony being in the hospital he made a full recovery and a week later we started planning for the big day
