The boy i met

first day of school

i was an average teenage girl who lives in Ontario , Canada . I was schooled in Pine Ridged Secondary  School and i have just heard the most shocking news ever .

When i first entered Pine Ridged Secondary , i didn't got along of other people well , i was always that shy kid , i never , and when i say never , i mean i never ever made the first move . I went to class  C - 5 which was ,  well , the 'not so good' class and to be frank i wasn't even smart , i was literally the worst in class .

Back to what i was saying , i never made the first move . Well , until Mrs . Rogers told the whole class to do a segment whereby all of us had to make friends with each other , i still hate her for it. " Okay class you may partner with the person i already assigned you to talk to , good luck kiddos " , Mrs. Rogers stood up from her chair as she walked infront of the class .

" The students whom i call , please raise up your hands so that your partner knows who you are " , she said as she clicked her blue inked pen .

"Natalie and Brad , Joey and Sara , Ameily and Savannah , And last but not least Claudia and Shawn " , she pointed to us .

So basically , my 'friend' Shawn is suppose to find me as i raised my hands , but turns out , he wasn't even here . I couldn't even find him , or is he just that stupid to not even know his own name . I stood up from the small red chair i was sitting on and tried to look for Shawn . " Is there a Shawn in here , anyone ? " , i asked the whole class as i walked around the class . There was an awkward silence . Let's just say most of us don't know anyone here . Most of them shrugged thier shoulders . I turned around to ask Mrs. Rogers about it .

She was quite buzy assisting a teacher from the other class . " umm , Mrs. Ro gg erss " , i startled as i talked to her as it was my first time talking to her . " Sorry to interrupt but ,ho was the person i was suppose to partner up with again ? , i suppose he is a boy named Shawn , pardon me i did not hear clearly " , i asked her as i twisted the ends of my checkered green skirt because it was getting awkwarder the more and more i talked to her "

" oh hello my dear , Clauda right ? " , she pronounced my name wrongly .
"Oh no it's Claudia  , heheh , yeah , it's fine though " , i laughed awkwardly .
" Oh dear , i'm really sorry about that Claudia , oh yes , you were suppose to be partnering a boy named " Sh shh awn Men des " , she squinted her eyes as she read the name list . " Shawn Mendes you mean ? , i asked . " Yes " , she gave me a grin . " He dosen't seem to be here though , i've been finding him but no one seems to know where he is .

" Oh really ? oh if that's the case , i'll be your partner for the day , i'll give a call to his parents and see if he'll come today  " , she smiled from ear to ear tapping my shoulder . "

" uh suree " , i gave a nervous laughter as i backed away slowly .

" Okay class , for this segment , i'd like you and your partner to first introduce name , secondly , you're hobby and your dream , you may start now , i'll be only giving you 20 minutes for this , good luck " , said Mrs. Rogers .

" Okay Claudia so tell me more about yourself please " , Mrs. Rogers tucked in the chair she was sitting on . " My name is Claudia , i like doing many things in particular singing , dancing and sports , i'd like to be either an athlete or a singer but more to singer because i think i have a nice and suitable song for a singer , i also dream to sing infront of an arena of thousands of people and make people happy because of my music .

" wow what a lovely thing to know , very good dreams and ambition , i wish you all the best in becoming the person you want to be in the coming future darling " , she wished me good luck and gave me a smile . I thanked her and smiled back . I didn't knew that talking to a new teacher wasn't that bad , she was really kind , sweet and approachable .
