It had been two days since it happened. Nancy, Ryan and Alex came about to leaving the house and funeral planning aside, to meet Kayley's teachers.

Hannah was Kayley's close friend. They didn't have many classes together but connected a lot over one study hall. She instanly recognized the three adults that entered the school building. She turned to walk towards them through the wave of students.
"Alex!" She called out. Alex stopped in his way and so did Nancy and Ryan.
"Hannah." Nancy said as she saw her coming towards them. Hannah noticed the thick air of sadness around them.
"Kay, is she okay?" She asked instanly.
Tears formed in Nancy's eyes, Ryan tightly held her hand in consolation.
"What happened?" Hannah asked again. Alex pulled her towards him in a hug.
"Two days ago, she-she killed herself." His voice cracking.
"No. You're joking." She shook her head and pulled away from Alex. Nancy let out a loud sob and cried into her husband's shoulder. Hannah's heart pounded in her chest.
"D-did she leave anything?" She asked. Alex shook his head.
"No." He said. "Just her cellphone. It's locked." Hannah looked up at him, taking the phone in her hand. The screen illuminated.
"I can help with that." She said, a tear streamed down her cheek.
"Thank you." Alex said. "We should go and talk to her teachers I guess."
"Okay. I'll stop by after school and hand this back to you if that's okay."
Alex nodded and started walking in the opposite direction with his parents.

Kayley. Death. Suicide. Nothing matched up, it just didn't make sense to her. Hannah started walking towards the table Kayley showed her, where she sat with the people she never really liked. But where someone very close to her was. Wiping her tears she approached the group in the centre of the cafeteria. The sound of people laughing and talking felt louder than usual.
"Aiden." All heads turned to Hannah. She wasn't really a part of that crowd, they were kind of intimidating. No wonder Kay didn't like sitting here, She thought.
"Oh hey Hannah! How's it goin?" Aiden replied cheerfully.
"Not great. Can I have a word with you? It's about Kayley." Hannah said. Aiden's face went blank and he stood up. The two sat on a table away from his group.
"What's up?" Aiden said, his voice calm but with a hint of worry.
Hannah was at a loss of words. She couldn't come to believe what had happened. A frown formed on her face and she place Kayley's phone on the table infront of Aiden.
"That's Kay's phone. Where is she? Why do you have it?" He asked.
"Aiden she-she.." The words just didn't seem to form.
"She what Hannah?" Aiden insisted.
"Aiden, Kay—she killed herself." Hannah said and started crying.
"What?!" Aiden almost yelled, "Hannah what are you talking about? Are you out of your mind?"
"Her parents and brother are here talkin' to the teachers. That's why she hasn't been around these last few days." Hannah managed to explain. Aiden violently shook his head. His heart racing. Momentarily everyone and everything seemed to pause.
"No. N-no this isn't right. You've been mistaken. Don't fuck with me like that Hannah." Aiden yelled, tears forming.
"Aiden! please. Don't make a scene." Hannah put a hand on his shoulder.
Both of them silently cried for a minute. Aiden incoherently mumbled something.
"Alex was hoping you could unlock her phone. Maybe find something." Hannah said. Aiden nodded and took the phone in his hand. Kayley's phone was her treasured possession. She never let anyone touch it, but Aiden. He was the only one who had access to her phone.

Aiden placed his right thumb on the screen and the phone unlocked to reveal a homescreen with a picture of Kay and himself from about a year ago. He placed the phone back down.
"I can't do this. I dont want to snoop through her phone. It's her privacy." Aiden said.
"I'm pretty sure she'd rather have you than anyone else do it Aiden. You're the only person with access to it." Hannah replied.
Aiden took a deep breath and picked up the phone again. He tried to ignore the bright smiling picture of Kay in the background. Though he couldn't help but wonder what went wrong. He opened the notes application. His hand shivered. Fittingly there was only one note in it. The moment she saw that single tab waiting to be opened, she knew that it was going to be one very long note...
