5:32pmNia was now being questioned by police.
"On the night in question was Anaya wearing any-revealing clothing?". Detective Hull questioned.
"No. She had on a shirt, jeans, and sandals". Nia shook her head.
"Did you see who Anaya's date was?". She continued asking.
"No. We left before he could show up". Nia answered.
"Did you have anything to do with helping Anaya find this date?". Detective Hull wrote things down in her notepad.
"No. She told us she was going on a date with someone. She didn't tell us with who until that night". Nia explained.
"Did you see Anaya after you left her house that night?". Detective Hull questioned.
"No. I didn't see her after that". Nia shook her head.
"Ok. We are all done here. You can join your mother outside". Detective Hull stood up and let Nia out.
Nia walked out and her Mom pulled her into a hug.
"Are you ok?". Her Mom asked.
Nia nodded.
They walked outside and Trey was leaning against his car.
"I'm gonna talk to him". Nia told her Mom.
"Ok. I'll be in the car". Her Mom walked to the car.
"Hey". Nia walked up to Trey.
He pulled her into a hug.
"You good shawty?". He whispered in her ear.
"Yeah". Nia sighed.
"They gon find her. It's gon be ok". He reassured her.
Nia didn't say anything.
Trey felt warm tears hit his arm and he held her tight.
"It's gon be ok. They gon find her". He reassured her.
Nia just nodded.
She wiped her eyes and kissed him.
"I'mma call you when I get home". She told him.
She turned around and walked toward her Mom's car.

8:45amNia was now in school and the police still hadn't found Anaya yet.
Jameer and Nia were on edge. What if Anaya was dead? What would they do if she was dead? Would their friendship fall apart? Or would they become closer?
"Nia". Jameer snapped her fingers.
"Huh?". Nia frowned.
"Common on its time to go to lunch". Jameer pulled Nia up.
Nia and Jameer walked out of class and went to the cafeteria.
"I just been so out of it since yesterday. I forgot to text Trey when I got home and he was panicking. I just hope they find her so we can go back to the way we were". Nia vented.
"I feel you on that one". Jameer nodded.
They got their lunch and sat down. Trey and Boston walked up and Boston and Jameer were sitting on opposite sides of the table.
"What wrong wit chall?". Trey frowned.
"Nothing. We've just decided to-discontinue this relationship". Jameer nodded.
"Discontinue?". Nia frowned.
"Yes. We felt-"
"No! You felt. We didn't agree on shit. You was tired of me and you fucking broke shit off". Boston spat.
He got up and walked off, slamming his lunch in the trash.
Jameer rolled her eyes.
Nia and Trey just looked at each other.
"You want me to talk to em?". Trey asked.
"Nah. If he wanna be mad then he can stay mad. I know what we did and did not agree on". Jameer looked like she was irritated.
Nia was uncomfortable.
"I'll see y'all later". Jameer got up and walked out the cafeteria.
"Since when was they even like that towards each other?". Nia exclaimed.
"I'on know bruh. Ole boy ain't tell me shit bout dis. I'll prolly talk to him bout it later". He replied.
"Imma go talk to Jameer. Imma see you later". Nia kissed Trey.
"Bet. I'll talk to Boston". Trey stood up.
Nia went out into the hallway and found Jameer, she had her face hidden in her locker.
"You ok boo?". Nia asked.
Jameer pulled back and had mascara running down her face.
"I'm a bad person Nia". Jameer cried.
"Oh my God, what happened?". Nia pulled Jameer into a hug.
"I broke up with Boston, because my first love Devin is getting out of juvenile this week". Jameer cried.
"Why would you do that Jameer?". Nia frowned.
"I can't do this. Boston is just too caring and loving and nice. I'm scared of hurting him". Jameer cried.
"How are you gonna hurt him?". Nia still wasn't understanding.
"Devin is getting out of juvenile next week". Jameer revealed.
Devin was Jameer's ex and first love. He was in a gang called the Red Spades. He was the leader in fact. He had gone to jail on multiple drug charges and an attempted murder. He had been in jail for six months, but now he was getting out.
"Oh my God! Why didn't you tell Boston this? He can protect chu!". Nia exclaimed.
"No! I don't want Boston to get hurt. Devin swears I'm his Nia and I'on want Boston getting hurt over my bullshit. I have to end this on my own". Jameer wiped her eyes.
"But Boston is already hurt. Not physically but I'm sure his heart is broken". Nia handed Jameer more tissues.
"If that stops him from being physically hurt by Devin then so be it". Jameer shrugged.
Before Nia could respond the bell rang.
"Imma see you later. Thanks for letting me vent Nia". Jameer hugged Nia and walked off.
Nia watched as Jameer walked off.
