Today has been a rough day for any O2 users. At around midday, the service just seemed to cut out without warning for 31 million people.
Many have taken themselves to Facebook and Twitter, pointing out every issue since this random blackout of data.
Calls have been ended abruptly.
Compensation rights are unknown at this time.
Messaging has also been reported as down, along with FaceTime and even phoning.
"I'm paying for services I can't use."
"I have been left with no service all day. NO CALLS, TEXTS OR INTERNET."
Many have expressed concern for any relatives who contact them using mobiles or data.
O2 are putting the blame somewhere other than theirselves, on a software issue with a third party supplier.
To worsen matters. GiffGaff and Lycamobile, two subsidiary networks from O2 have also been reported not working.
"We'd encourage our our customers to use WiFi wherever they can and we apologise for any inconvenience caused." Said an O2 spokesperson.
Mark Evans, CEO of O2, hasn't spoken out regarding the issues.
