Please take these updates as my apology for not updating today! And thank you for understanding!

It'd only been a week since you'd seen your fiancé, since that terrible day when his blood was deemed unclean to enter the community with you, Daichi and Suga. Only a week and you were losing your mind without him beside you. Every morning you'd wake up, thinking it was only a terrible dream, like the nightmare you'd had the night before finding the camp, but would only feel horror feel your body when you turned to see the bed empty. Well, not completely. Sometimes you'd ask Daichi or Suga to lay with you until you fell asleep, the warmth of their body fooling your sleepy mind into thinking everything was okay.
But you couldn't take it any longer. You needed to see him. You needed to be sure he was okay and that they were taking care of him. That he was safe.
So, on your day off in the community, you got in the transfer bus that took you a few miles south to where the infected facility was, feeling sick to your stomach at the realization that it was just a prison. The green pastures filled with multiple chain link fence enclosures, each one having varying degrees of the dead; From completely rotting and bloated corpses to those who were just a few days into their meaningless new life. You had understood that the community rounded up the dead and kept them in the prison enclosures in case a member of their society recognized them and wanted to have closure before they were put down. You could tell that some of the dead hadn't been recognized in years, and it saddened you to realize that maybe all those who could have remembered them were in the same boat they were. Dead and waiting for release from this world.
As soon as the bus stopped, you were out of your seat and out the doors, running for the front doors of the prison visitation center. You opened the doors quickly and had to cover your mouth quickly at the smell inside. This was the place of the dead. Trying your hardest to forget about the smell, you approached the clerk at the front desk, slamming down your ID card, "I demand to see my husband. Azumane Asahi." You were just barely containing yourself from gagging as the scent of rotting flesh tickled at the inside of your nostrils, finding its way into your sinuses, swirling it's dirty tendrils to wrap around your brain and bring up that terrible nightmare you'd had about Asahi.
The clerk sighed and checked your ID, "He's a new patient, so we'll allow you this time, but you need to make an appointment before coming next time to give us enough time to make sure his appearance is appropriate." He grumbled, his hand brought up to his cheek, pushing against his jaw and making his speech almost unintelligible. He pressed the buzzer and you walked through the steel doors, taking the empty seat at the end of the row, seeing into each box until that point. There were about 50 people total in the room, one booth holding about 5 people who were all arguing to talk into the phone so the relative or friend on the other side, the infected side, could be able to talk to them. Another booth held an elderly couple, the man having a nasty bite mark against the top of his head, the flesh turning dark brown and festering. A security guard near your booth handed you a face mask, but you shook your head as you declined it, feeling your insides clench at the realization that you'd grown used to the smell already.
You had only been sitting there for a few minutes before you saw a familiar body walking on the other side of the bars beyond the bullet proof glass in front of you. You stood up quickly and pressed your hands against the window, trying to watch him as he rounded the corner and came into view of the room. Tears were already forming in your eyes as he was escorted over to the booth where you were waiting, his eyes downcast until he heard a knocking on the window in front of him. You gave a watery smile and waved at him, pointing to the phone on the side for him to pick up so you could talk to him.
