Saturday comes quickly, but you're less nervous than the first time for some reason.

You can't decide on whether it's because your assumptions that Jungkook would be the hardest subject to interview have dissipated into a mere whisper of anxiety, or if it's because you're no longer contained inside the suffocatingly warm coffee shop. Instead, you are met with the crisp autumn coolness on this particularly sunny afternoon. But whatever the case is, you have a good feeling about today.

Jungkook comes right on time, offering up a small but awkward smile as you two begin to walk toward an unknown destination. You don't tell him where you're going and he doesn't try to ask, because you've already started speaking.

"So, I'm Y/N L/N. I'm a second year English major with an emphasis on creative writing. I interned at a publishing company last year and I fuckin' loved it. And, so they told me that I should build up my portfolio with more than just fiction pieces. My friend's editor of the school's newspaper, so I've been working, well, interning there, and when she asked me if I wanted to interview you for the collaboration, I went for it. And, you?"

"M-me?" he asks, blinking and processing the sudden drop of information. He doesn't seem to be opposed to the way you introduced himself, even giving an almost imperceptible nod before telling his own. "Well, I'm Jeon Jungkook. First generation Korean American, second year Film major, who really wants to just make movies that have some kind of story to 'em. I like know to that I'm creating and showing films that the audience can relate to. I especially like giving a platform for marginalized groups to speak since not that many people expect that from someone like me. Sure, I'm in a fraternity at Beta Tau Sigma, but I'm not banging chicks and getting completely hammered on the weekends. I actually like to work out, play video games, normal shit like this."

"I'm guessing watching movies is one of those hobbies too, right?" You peek a glance at him, watching as the light somehow manages to catch him just right. It's almost a little cruel that he could look so handsome even now.

"Oh, of course! If I couldn't be a filmmaker, I think I could live with being a film critic. I'd love to write about how a film makes me want to shove an entire rotten tomato down my throat than watch that hypothetical train wreck I'm being forced to watch."

You can't help but laugh, though you're trying not to too hard for fear that you might miss something else from this gold mine of banter. You hope you haven't blocked the microphone so this won't be too muffled later, though at the very least you're sure that you can remember a good chunk of this information anyway.

"I mean it! As long as my future involves films, I'll be very happy." He helps you navigate through a particularly large crowd of tourists visiting the college town, and he nods as you murmur a thank you.

"So, what inspired that? I mean, what inspired you to pursue film anyway?"

As you take a right down the block, he follows your example and answers, "Well, honestly, the movie Spirited Away inspired me when I was younger. Like it got me into the idea of filmmaking, because Miyazaki's films still amaze me to this very day. His storylines are so intricate and well-layered to where it has so many meanings and interpretations and they still have something to say. It also helps that my dad filmed just about everything my older brother and I did once we were born, too."

You eventually come to a stop by a Mediterranean food place that your friends have adored coming to since you started your academic journey in this university, and it makes you happy that Jungkook has been meaning to try this place for ages, but neither he nor his friends could ever find it for some reason.
