Discovering Etheria

Chapter 1

Hello I'm Destiny I'm 16 years old and I've lived with my aunt Susan since I was a little girl because my parents disappeared and I never knew why but my aunt never liked talking about them it's like she was hiding something but I always ignored it knowing she gets mad when I ask. My aunt Susan never liked me being curious about things so she always kept an eye on me when I would go outside making sure I don't wonder off in the woods, I always wonder what might be there.

I was excited because my birthday was coming up and my aunt was letting me throw a party so I was inviting some of my friends from school, since their crazy I'm pretty sure they are gonna invite more people which I'm okay with because I wanted to have fun. Also there only one week of school left so that's a relief, but it's Wensday now meaning it's Thursday tomorrow.

"Destiny wake up breakfast is ready, you don't wanna be late" I heard aunt Susan yell from downstairs. I got up, got dressed and went downstairs to eat my breakfast quick "bye aunt" I told her as I got my backpack and left. School wasn't so far from my house so I walk there.

When I get there my friends Casey and Kate ran up to me "hey we are excited for your party Saturday"Casey said, yes I know it's right after the last day of school lucky me "I know it's gonna be so fun" Kate said.

School went by quick and Casey and Kate were sleeping over since their parents and my aunt get along they were fine with it. We stayed up watching movies till we were tired and went to bed.

A/N: hope you guys liked the first chapter kinda boring but the book gets interesting, sorry if were bad at writing this is our first story we are writing😕
