Third Person POV

As the pair finally woke up from their nap two hours later, they decided to join the others out in the living room.

As they reached the living room Yoongi cleared his throat which made the others stop what they were doing and turn their attention to them.

Oh you're finally awake would you like a snack or actual lunch? I made black bean noodles.- Jin

Umm I don't know about him but I'm fine. I actually have to get going my shift at the coffee shop starts in an hour and I have to go back home to get ready.- Y/N

Namjoon translated that to the rest of them who were slightly disappointed that she had to leave so soon.

Aww but it feels like you just got here and we didn't even get to spend time with you because this hyung hogged all the time with you.- Jimin

Ya you're not the one with the headache every time she's around so quiet.-Yoongi finally spoke up.

Y/N had caught on to the gist of the conversation and just chuckled.

Yoongi turned to her and shot her a glare.

Ya first of all I'm pretty sure I'm older than you so show some respect and also quit confusing me.- Yoongi exclaimed at her sudden outburst of chuckles at his previous comment towards Jimin. (A/N I'm not sure what era I want to focus on yet but yoongi is supposed to be about 3 years older than her)

Eh? How do I confuse you Oppa?- Y/N asked

Yoongi couldn't help the light pink that now dusted his cheeks because he hadn't expected her to call him that and ask the full question in Korean, this was exactly what he was talking about,  this girl confused him.

That! One second you have to have Namjoon translate for you and the next you are speaking Korean like do you fucking speak it or not stop playing dumb!-Yoongi. To be honest it wasn't that big of a deal as to why he was making it one was a complete mystery.

umm.. I only caught about half of that-Y/n said to Namjoon.

I'm not gonna translate all of that hyung you're being very rude.- Namjooon said to yoongi and then turned to Y/N,

He basically is confused and frustrated about your Korean speaking level.-Namjoon

Oh um ok so I am currently, alongside my business classes, taking Korean lessons as well because the language has always intrigued me and the thought of speaking multiple languages fascinates me. My current Korean level I would say is intermediate I can understand basic conversation and a little more beyond that but not when people speak really fast or have a certain dialect. For example I find the Daegu satoori to be harder than the Busan one for me to understand.-Y/N

Namjoon then translated this and everyone just nodded whileYoongi feigned a hurt expression.

Wae do you look like that Oppa?-Y/N

He's from Daegu- Namjoon

Oh that explains it mianhae anyway I should get going.-Y/N

Ok yeah we have to get packing anyway we leave back to korea soon . - Namjoon

Oh really when?-Y/n said as she was stepping out of the hotel room.

We pack and leave for the airport tonight and take off tomorrow.- Yoongi said dryly.

Oh okay well hope we can keep in touch or something.- Y/N said in Korean with poor grammar.

Oh yea here are our numbers.- Jin said while passing around the paper so that the boys could write them down. The last one to write their number down was Yoongi.

ok thanks bye now.-Y/N

Y/N POV

I put the paper in my bag and made my way out of the hotel and towards my condo to get ready for my shift. 

It was a bummer that they were leaving so soon I barely even got to talk to them and I wanted to get to know them better considering that they seemed like nice, genuine people. 

Not only that but I was dying to get to know HIM. Yoongi seemed so cold and sarcastic and acted as if he couldn't care less about me and that made me want to get to know him more because I was more than sure he had a soft side. I if there wasn't a soft side he at least had to have a side that was civil for crying out loud.

*time skip to shift*

I was now taking orders and preparing them since we were shorthanded at the moment. It has been a pretty busy shift so far and it's only my manager and I so it made it kind of stressful but it was better than sitting on that damn stool in front of the cash register reading a book. I mean I love reading and all but I feel like reading while at work doesn't make me feel productive in the least.

I was minding my own business until the bell signaling someone came in the shop made me look up. To my surprise it was one of the boys I had just met. I recognized him to be Jimin. I smiled at him in greeting. I was kind of nervous because he was alone and I didn't know if I was going to be able to fully understand him without Namjoon's help.

He walked up to the register and smiled at me a smile that made his eyes disappear, it was completely unexpected and utterly adorable.

Annyonghaseyo , caramel macchiato jebal-Jimin

wow I actually understood him. duh okay I knew the basics why was I so surprised?

okay coming right up- I said in Korean and turned to get him his order.

Once it was ready I placed on the counter and rung up the amount as he paid me. 

umm.. can you sit with me and talk I know you're working but this will only take a second.- Jimin said making sure to talk slow and enunciate every syllable as if he was talking to a child. Not that I minded though because it did help me understand what he was saying.

I glanced around and saw that the rush from earlier had died down and it wouldn't hurt to take my break early if I wasn't needed so I smiled and nodded as I took off my apron and gestured to a table by the window.We sat down and he started talking again in that manner acting as if I were a small child.

Well I just wanted to clear some things up just in case you were left confused. First, don't mind Yoongi hyung too much he will warm up to you it just takes him some time to adjust to people especially considering you are who you are. Second. don't feel too discouraged if it doesn't happen right away, your relationship with him, I mean he's just really focused on his music at the moment. Third, we are a group of idols in the k-pop genre, we debuted a little while back.(A/N still don't know what era sorry)-Jimin

I caught the important parts of what he said and decided to speak to him in my broken ass Korean.

I understand don't worry about me I just wanted to get to know you guys a little more. You know let things settle before making any decisions. I mean we are young and we found each other we can always be together in the future. And congrats on your debut by the way. Thank you for coming to talk to me Chim.- I said and then slightly blushed upon realizing I just called him by a nickname.

He just smiled and stood up.

Well I should get going ...can I have your number? I mean I know you have ours but just in case...- he trailed off.

I smiled and grabbed my pen that I kept in my hair for taking orders and wrote it on the palm of his hand. He looked at it smiled then waved as he left the coffee shop. And I went back to work.
