Chapter 4

Overall POV

Zain woke up the next day to an amazing scent, a smile formed on his lips and he tried to move closer to the scent but strong and warm arms tighten around Zain waist making him squeak like a mouse. He pushed at Ace's chest trying to get out of his grip although he really didn't want to, he just thought it was the right thing.

"I am too strong for you to escape me."Ace whispered huskily with his eyes still close.

"Let me go I need a pee." Zain said.

"Ok but you must come straight back so you can go back to sleep as it is still early." Ace said whilst letting Zain move.

Zain sighed and got up to use the bathroom then came back into the room and slipped back under the covers. Ace pulled him close to his chest once again and he eventually closed his eyes again.

When they woke up a few hours later Zain put on a robe which was at the end of the bed and went into the walk in closet. It was bigger than the bathroom and nearly as big as his old house. Ace followed him in the closet to show him where everything was and to make sure he had everything he wanted. Once finished getting his clothes ready he went into the bathroom had a quick shower and then put on his clothes once dressed he brushed his teeth, styled his hair and went back into the bedroom whilst Ace got himself ready. Ace came back and took Zain's hand, surprisingly his hands were soft and lead him outside the room and down the stairs and into the large sitting room where there was about twenty people stood as soon as they saw Ace and Zain.

"Morning Boss." They all said in unison.

Zain look at them weirdly.

"This is my fiancé Zain Saunders the one I told you about."

Zain felt his cheeks heating up at the word fiancé. He looked around the people seeing they were in groups. Maids dress in uniforms chefs in white and a gardener and some dangerous looking men.

Ace took Zain's hand and led him over ti the maids.

"It's a pleasure to meet you sir". They all said in unison.

"Uh um it's nice to meet you too". Zain replied looking at Ace who only smile before walking over to each of them and introducing them to Zain.

"Nice to meet you sir." They all said

"Nice to meet you too but please call me Zain."

Once finished with the introductions and Zain had a few unsavoury words to Mike about putting him to sleep, Jake waved his hand and told everyone to go back to their duties. Before leaving Jake gave Ace a paper before turning to Zain and smiling.

"I won't introduce you to Jake as you already met and if you have any problems or concerns you go to him if I am busy or away on business. "

"Hi princess." Jake said with a wide smile.

Zain roll his eyes but replied. "Hi Jake."

After Jake left them a lone Ace took Zain into the dining room which attached to the room they were in. Once seated in the dining room they had their breakfast whilst chatting and getting to know each other more.

After breakfast Ace had some business to take off but wanted Zain to come with him so he could see what he did as part of being the boss of the Mafia.

Aces held Zain's hand and lead him downstairs to the basement where there was various rooms including an office and the room were interrogations take place. As they walked into a locked room the Zain had not bee was a tall man standing next to someone who was badly beaten. Zain had not previously been introduced to the man standing but did recognise him as the driver who brought him here. Ace quickly said to Zain "this is James he usually works alongside Jake, Mike and Ray who was involved in picking you up."

Once Ace had introduced both of them  Ace sat opposite of the beaten up man. Ace clear his throat before speaking " Who sent you?"

"Why the fuck should I tell you?"

"You have two choices either you tell me and maybe you will live or if you don't I will put a bullet in your head right now, your choice." Ace replied with a smirk on his face.

"Go fuck yourself I rather die than tell you shit."

"Ok have it your way." Ace said before putting a bullet in his head.

Ace got up grabbed Zain's hand and started to walk out but before leaving turned round to James "tidy this mess and dispose of the body."

As they were walking up the stairs Zain's legs buckled Ace managed to grab him before he fell and carried him up to their room which was on the second floor.

Once they had reached their room Ace put Zain on the bed took his shoes of and laid him down.

"Is it hard to kill people?" Zain quietly asked Ace.

"It used to be but now it isn't because that is part of my job as a Mafia boss. I rather not kill but sometimes I have no choice. We only kill the bad people never innocents especially woman and children but sometimes in bad situations we have not choice cause believe it or not even in this business not all of them are innocent. Jake got stabbed a couple of years by a woman because he refused to give her a kilo of coke for half the money you would be surprise what we go through on a daily basis."

Ace left the room and went to the warehouse to check on the shipments also had to speak to a few allies to find out if they know who is behind recent attacks on various business locations also Ray and James had noticed missing shipments and had gone missing also that they lost two drivers due to being ambushed. Ace had an idea who was involved but needed more proof.

Once he had finished Ace went back to the house so he could curl up with Zain who was still in bed asleep. Ace got undress but left his boxers on and got into the bed curling up to his Angel.
