Chapter 9

Still Zain's POV

It's been a couple of days since my punishment or should I say pleasure both Ace and I have been a lot closer and more affectionate towards each other. It feels weird when he is is not with me but that what happens I guess when you are in a relationship with the leader of the most dangerous mafia in the world.

For the last few mornings I have got up and done some more training as Ace thinks I need to be able to fight if need be in the future especially as his partner. Once I had finished training with Mike and Ray because both Jake and Ace had business to deal with. I went upstairs to have a shower and to get into clean comfortable clothes so I could chill out and watch re runs on TV. As I was watching the programme my phone buzzed with various texts from Danni-D asking me what I am up to, If I am alone? I answered him by saying that Ace was out dealing with some business somewhere in town and I was at home watching reruns on the TV. After that he was asking me what type of business Ace did and where he was working to. At that point alarm bells were going off in my head. I ran down stairs and saw Mike "Mike where did Ace say he was going."

"Behind Walmart why." All I could do was think shit what have I done. "I need you to contact him for me NOW." I shouted; as he was about to ring him the door slammed open and Ace walked in followed by Jake and Ray all covered in dirt and cuts on his face and neck.

I looked at them and ran to Ace grabbing him and holding him close. "What the hell happen?"

"Danni's men were waiting for us the whole thing was a setup it was almost like they knew all our moves before they happened."

At that point in time I did not say anything as I needed to figure things out before I speak to Ace because I am sure I did not tell him anything about Ace and where he was so why all of the sudden asking questions.

Ace in the meantime told his men to go and lead me up to the bathroom so we could have a bath together.

Whilst we were having a bath Ace looked up and said "I have some business to take care of in Mexico thought you and Sin could come and you could then meet my grandparents."

"Really that would be brilliant."

We got out of the bath and got into bed Ace contacted Sin to be ready early tomorrow so we could go to Mexico. Whilst Ace was on the phone I texted the person who had been texting me to say that I am going away for a few days to meet Aces grandparents.

After I did that I kissed Ace then curled to him and went to sleep....

Ace POV

I might be a mafia boss but last night scared the shit out of me not because I could have been  killed but because I would never see my Angel again. I might be part of the Mafia but it doesn't mean I don't have feelings beacause I do. I love Zain very much but I know he is still keeping things from me I just hope he will open up soon. I also know there is more to his bad childhood he tries to hide it but I hear him sometimes at night shouting in his sleep. I know he will tell me when he ready.

Back to now I am currently trying to wake up Zain who refuses to wake up so we can go to Mexico. Finally after thirty minutes he gets up gets ready and off we go.

Ten minutes on the plane he is asleep again so I sit with Sin and discuss everything and the meeting I have with Carlos Delco tomorrow he happens to be an ex of mine also ex business partner but we still keep in contact now and then.

After six hours being on the plane we were about to land so I woke Zain up. Once we landed we went to the car that was waiting for us.

They took us to our grandparents who were waiting for us at the door because I had already let them know we were coming.

They both took one look and Zain and they were both beaming "this must be Zain my name Pepe and this is my wife Zaneta but you can call us Mama and Papa."

"Nice to finally meet you both." Zain said quietly but I could see how happy he was and that he already loved them like his own grandparents.

Mama and Papa took us through to the dining room for lunch which consist of platters off food which to be honest was a lot for five people but Zain eat more than I have ever seen him eat.

We sat there for a couple of hours eating, drinking and talking. Mama embarrassed me by showing family photos which included me as a baby. It was nice to spend the time with the people I loved the most...
