Chapter 18

Ace's POV

As we got out of the building I told the men to get rid of the bodies and burn the building down. I got Zain and our son into the back seat of the SUV and I sat in the front making a call to our doctor as I was concerned what they had given Zain also the kid looked underweight and starved. As Jake started to drive off I told him take us to the ship it was nearer. I looked at Zain who was now cuddled up to Alexandre who was asleep on his lap. I whispered to him they we were going to get them both checked over and were staying on the ship tonight. He just nodded in agreement before closing his eyes.

As we arrived to the ship I took Zain's hand whilst he was carrying his son. As we walked up the stairs we were greeted by James our doctor. I quickly introduced him to Zain and Alexandre and explained everything to him and my concerns for them both. I also mentioned the possibility of Zain being pregnant and my concern of what drugs they gave him. James explained what tests he was going to do which also include blood test for both of them also a urine test for Zain. He looked at Alexandre's weight and height and compared it to children his age and told us he was defiantly underweight. He reassured us that he would have all the results and a plan in place by tomorrow morning. He asked us to come to the clinic which is near our compound first thing in the morning which we agreed with.

We said our good byes and took our son for some food, thanks to Sin who had got the chef to do as it past midnight. Both Zain and Alexandre eat some food and had some fluids before I took them to our cabin. I wanted them to get comfortable before getting into bed so they both had a shower and I managed to get a couple of t-shirts for them both which were too big but they could not sleep in what they had previously had on. As they both settle I text Sin who had left with Jake to get some clothes for us also to get our son a couple of outfits which he said he would bring them in the morning.

Next morning.....

Overall POV

Zain woke up to someone cuddling into his neck he looked down to see his son looking up at him with beautiful blue eyes and long blond wavy hair which needed to be cut.

"Morning daddy, papa is outside talking to Uncle Sin and Uncle Jake told me to come and cuddle you so you would wake up."

"Thank you baby boy should we go and get showered and brush our teeth before we get dressed and have breakfast."

"Ok daddy."

After the shower....

As they stepped back into the cabin there on bed was two piles of clothes one for Zain and one for Alexandre which was all new. Zain helped Alexandre to get dressed by the time they were ready Ace came into the cabin with a tray full of food which they sat at the table in the corner of the cabin and ate until there was no more food.

Once finished eating they got ready and went to the doctors. As they were driving to the clinic Zain asked Ace if it was ok for him to take Alexandre out after the appointment so he could buy him everything he need. Ace agreed as long as Jake went with them. He also told Zain his car would be back at the ship before they left.

Once they had arrived at the clinic and was greeted by James he went through the results of the blood tests he told both Ace and Zain that Alexandre was definitely underweight and needed both Vitamin C and Iron supplements for the time being but needed to come back for a check in a month's time. James also gave them a food planner which would help Alexandre get the nutrients he needed. Once he had finished talking about Alexandre results, he started going through Zain's.

He confirmed that Zain was definitely pregnant and asked him at that point to lay down on the bed so they could use a the ultra-scan to check the baby and to see how far along Zain was. James asked Zain to lift his shirt up at that point Zain looked at Ace for reassurance "don't worry angel everything will be ok." Ace whispered before kissing Zain.

James put the machine on and got the wand ready before putting gel on Zain's stomach once ready moved the wand around Zain's stomach until he could see a little blob. James showed both Ace and Zain the blob and told them it was their baby, he also reassured them both that everything was ok. At that point James put the sound up so they could hear the heartbeat. James took the measurements of the baby and confirmed that Zain was between 4 and 5 weeks.

After they had finished with scan Zain wiped the gel of his stomach then James printed some photos of for them also gave him some vitamins they said their goodbyes and drove back to the Ship.
