Louis Imagine for Rebecca (bex_the_box)
------
Your boyfriend Louis finished up his tour a few days ago and finally has time to visit with you. The night he gets back, it's almost 11:00 p.m., but he insists on stopping by your house the day he arrives since he hasn't seen you in months. You've been sitting on your front porch for about ten minutes waiting for him when you see Louis' car pull up in your driveway. You suddenly get butterflies in your stomach, just like on your first ever date with him. Do I look nice enough?, you wonder. You glance down at your t-shirt and shorts before realizing Louis probably doesn't care at all what you're wearing anyway. At least your soft, black hair is straightened and down, not in a messy bun.
You stand up from your seat on the porch and walk out to the driveway and when you see him standing about ten yards away, you stop short. It's fairly dark, but you see his eyes glistening as they look into yours, and you feel your eyes start to water with happiness. You didn't realize how much you missed him until right when you laid eyes on him in person again. His perfectly messy brown locks, his Beatles t-shirt, the sandals he wears so much, his muscular arms, his twinkling blue eyes. You suddenly remember you're both just standing there when you could be together, so you run towards him and collide into his torso, pulling him into a hug. Louis holds you tightly.
"Rebecca, I missed you so, so much," he whispers into your ear while you hug.
"I missed you too Lou," you quietly say back.
Louis pulls away from you and smiles. "Now that I'm here with you, I don't want to leave. And I was just supposed to drop by."
You look up at the sky and notice the stars are just coming out.
And five minutes later, the two of you are laying in the grass on top of a blanket in your front yard, watching the bright, beautiful sky in curiosity.
"I wish I didn't have to go all over the world for my career," your boyfriend blurted out as his right hand met your left. You turn sideways to watch him speak. "I really do. I can't stand not seeing you every day. Of course, I'm doing what I love, but I hate that I'm not doing it all WITH the one I love."
"Louis, you're in one of the world's biggest boy bands. When I started dating you, I knew exactly what I was signing up for. Of course, I won't see you as much as most boyfriends and girlfriends see each other. And of course all of the girls at your concerts and signings will be flinging themselves at you and the lads. I see the things girls say about you online. They're, um...quite graphic." Lou laughs at this and you continue with a chuckle. "But if I get to be with you, it's all worth it. None of it bothers me because I know that no matter where you are, or who you're with, I know that I'm yours and you're mine. Yeah, I miss you tons every day. But the times we DO get to be with each other makes up for all of that other stuff. I'd much rather go through this than not even be with you at all."
"Thank you so much for understanding and being so supportive," Louis states after a pause while he strokes your hair.
"I'm in a relationship with a member of One Direction, who wouldn't be supportive?" you chuckle as you press your lips against his cheek.
A few minutes later, he points up into the sky at a group of stars. "Hey Bec, see that?" Louis asks you.
"Oh, God," you sigh. "Don't even tell me you named a star after me or something. I feel like I'm in some cheesy romantic movie."
"No, no," he laughs. "I didn't buy you a star. I just thought that that group of stars sort of looks like a guitar."
You squint, concentrating more on the sky. "Hey, it does!" you agree. "That's odd. I've never really seen any shapes in the stars before."
Suddenly, you hear the click of a camera taking a picture. You turn to see Louis has taken an awful candid photo of you. He does this all the time just to get on your nerves, since you always fuss about how you look.
"Lou!" you exclaim. "Delete it!"
"No!" he laughs while you struggle to get the phone out of his hand. He stands up and runs away into the forest of trees in your neighbors lawn. You sprint after him, chasing him through the slalom of tall elms. You finally get close enough to wrap your arms around him from behind.
"Louis!" you yell while laughing into his shoulder. "Give me the phone!"
He turns around to face you and shoves the phone deep down in his pocket. "I have no weakness! The picture will never be deleted."
You grab his cheeks and pull his face to yours, your lips pressing against his. He wraps his arms around your torso, forgetting about the phone, and you quickly reach into his pocket, grabbing it.
"HEY!" Louis yells.
"Gotcha!" you laugh while sprinting away. As you run, you unlock his iPhone and hurriedly delete the photo. You land with a thud on the blanket back where you started and set his phone down. Louis sits down beside you nearly a second later.
"Damn," he frowns as he scrolls through his phone, obviously not finding the picture there anymore.
"When I want something, I make sure it gets done," I smile proudly.
"Yeah, well it's not always that easy when you want something. Try auditioning for X Factor sometime," he spits back at you and you laugh.
"I love you," he says, kissing your forehead lightly.
"Love you too, Lou," you smile, very glad to have your boyfriend back.
