Going home

~Julia's POV~

So after much thinking and debating I decided to talk to Ross. I know that I'm heart broken and sad, but I need to find a way to get over Cameron. No Ross isn't a rebound, just a distraction. Help me keep my mind off of him.

After much silence I turn to Ross and say, "so why are you in Paris?"

"I was an exchange student for the second half of the school year."

"Oh that's awesome!"

"Ya, how about yourself?"

"I was here on vacation with my boyfriend. Now my ex."

"Oh"

"Ya"

"Sure you don't want to talk about it?"

"Well I woke up this morning to letter next to me and not him. He graduated early and got accepted into Oxford. He's staying in Paris with his his uncle until the school year starts."

"And you didn't know about it?"

"Not until this morning."

"Wow dick move."

"Tell me about it"

"Are you ok?"

"I will be in time."

"I'm sorry. If I were to date you then I would never leave you like that or leave you at all."

"Someone's flirtatious."

"Hey I got you to smile and that's all that matters."

"So why don't you tell me about yourself?"

"I'm in the typical family. A mom and dad who fight sometimes but they always work it out. I have a younger sister named Lisa she's 15. So two years apart, we get along most of the time. I'm always there to protect her. I'm going to be a senior. And I'm just trying to get through life."

"Is that the whole truth?"

"Yes, why would I lie about that?"

"My last boyfriend lied about his life story."

"And you still dated him."

"Yep it's a long story that I'm not in the mood to repeat."

"That's ok. Tell me about your self?"

"Well when I was five my dad left us and I haven't spoken to him sense. Once he left my mom decided she needed to get her life together. She left us at our grandmas in Iowa and went to get her college degree. She got a degree in architecture. Then once she was done with college she came and got us. When she came back, she wasn't alone. She meet her next husband, Ben, when she was at college. He was like 5 years younger then her, so gross. We then moved out here and we first lived in Silverthorne. When I was 12 we went to a One Direction concert in Denver and on the way home there was an accident. My brother and Two of my friends passed away. All the friends I have right now don't know about this. When I was 14 my mom and stepdad split. We then moved here. She is still in contact with Ben, but I think he has gf. So yep that's about it."

"Julia. How did you get through all of that?"

" it's called pushing through depression and trying to happy and enjoying your life to the fullest. I can't be that sad girl who let's her past bring her down. I have to move on and live my life."

"Wow you are one strong girl."

"Thanks."

"So tell me some of your favorites."
