I was released from the hospital this morning. Last night Skylar changed our flight back to New York to be at 12:45 that means we have like three hours to get our stuff together check out of this hotel, get there, make it through security, and get on the plane. Skylar hasn't really been expressive toward the situation. She seems kind of quiet and distant. We got back to the hotel to take showers and change and the room is quiet. While I'm packing up I look over and see Skylar looking out the window.

"Skylar?" still the scilence is deafining. "Skyyyllaaaaar?"

"Yeh." she said not turning to face me.

"Are you okay you seem kind of distant , and you haven't spoken more than a couple words all day. I just wanna hear you say something, anything." After a few seconds she turned around and started to cry.  " No, No, please don't cry. I hate seeing you cry, just please." I said going up to her and holding her tight.

"It's-It's just that I don't want this to end! I know that you should be the one having a major breakdown being that you're the one with a major lung problem, but... I just don't know what I'm going to do when you're gone. When the one true love of my life, regardless of how long I've actually known you, is gone and all thats left are just memories and pictures." she said through sobs. I stopped her before she started to rant.

"Can you just promise me something?"

"Of course."

"When I am gone... I don't want you to get depressed, or stop being happy, I want you to be just as happy as you were when I was still here. I want you to hold those pictures near and dear to your heart, as well as that pretty little ring on your finger. To make new friends and bonds so that you won't be alone, but more than anything else..." I said stopping at the thought of this happening.

"What? What is it?"

"While you make your new friends and start your new life just please don't ever forget me. Don't forget me because I'm sure that everyone else will."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Like I said before I never did anything outstanding in my life. Heck! my family barely even calls to say happy birthday, or a merry christmas."

"Do they know about all of this?"

"Nope. And they probably don't care how I'm doing... Can you do something else for me when I'm gone"

"Sure"

"I want you to help plan my funeral, and at my funeral near the end I want there to be a slideshow of all of the pictures of us in all of the different places. You can pick the song or whatever. I just want them to know I didn't waist my life."

"I have just the song in mind." she said with kind of a smirk that faded. When I was going to ask which one she jumped up."We have to go! Grab your stuf cause we have got a flight to catch mister."

"Let's do this!"

As we made our way into the elevator Skylar couldn't help but scream "Woooooohooo WE'ER GETTING MARRIED!"
