To those who may find this uncomfortable to read I will understand the negative feedback. I wrote this as an assignment for my sociology class and it got a lot of feed back so I was compelled to put it here.
Much love
You "love" her.
(A poem on rape)
You "love" her.
15 young yet sweet.
She had bright eyes and a smile to match.
You were a few months older.
You knew better.
But she was too kind too gentle.
You said you "love" her.
Was it love when you violated her
She whimpered and begged you to stop
You covered her mouth so she couldn't scream
Her innocence mattered little to you
Yet you said
You "love" her
You told her that what was happening would make her
A woman she wouldn't be so "childish"
Her innocence made her who she was
You took it by force
You "love" her.
