Chapter 1

Oymyakon Russia

      'It's so bloody cold' I thought. I swear I've been sitting on this ledge for hours just waiting for the HYDRA agent to walk outside straight into my waiting arms. I've made it my mission to wipe out every HYDRA agent after what they did to me and my family. I can still hear the gun shots. Their screams, my screams as I was pulled away from them. Every day from then on I was tortured abused and everything above until I became their strongest weapon. Someone that could kill from the shadows without ever being seen.

"I'll be right back" a deep male voice said. This was it and I almost missed it. I silently dropped from my perch. He was so drunk he didn't notice me until I had my knife to his throat. With a quick slash my job was done and as silently as I appeared I disappeared back into the shadows.

Steve's P.O.V

    I've been sitting in this room for 20 minutes with the rest of the team arguing about what was taking Nick Fury so long. "Maybe he died" Tony suggested.
"I'm not dead" said Nick frowning at Tony as he walked in. "We just had another report of a death by Tara Lamira."
" Why is that a big deal for us? Shouldn't the police deal with that?" I asked.
"Normally it is but recently Tara Lamira has started killing HYDRA members."
"I still don't see what this has to do with us?" Said Tony. Nick then gave Tony one of those looks that made him sink lower in his seats. I tried to stifle a laugh. "Something funny Cap" Tony said looking at me daring me to say something. Before I could reply Nick continued.
"I want you to see if you can track her down she would be a very useful asset"
"Do you have anything other than a name?" Natasha asked.
"Yes. She has black hair, violet eyes is around 5 ft9, around 18 and her last kill was in Oymyakon Russia, you will not approach her alone. She is one of the most skilled fighters out there, we have no knowledge of magic but it is said that she can blend into the shadows until it's like she's not even there. I don't want to lose any of you so don't underestimate her."
"What makes you think that she can beat any of us?" Tony asks "she's just a girl."
"Oh Tony lets go!" Said Natasha with a glint in her eyes that makes me want to run.
"She has the highest kill count in America right now." Said Nick
That made a shiver run down my spine.
"If she's a criminal why would she want to help us?" I ask.
"She Wouldn't. But we can hope."
