Chapter 12

Tara's P.O.V

    I opened my eyes to see I was back in the same cell I stayed in for years. It was dark and god the smell. I slowly pulled myself up off the ground. It hurt I looked down to see many open cuts along my legs and arms. HYDRA only cleans and bandages if there deep. Hopefully I'll die of infection. I was distracted from my thoughts by the banging of keys and heavy steps. The door suddenly opened and I saw a guard. I started to back up but he was faster and grabbed my arm. I got a slap to the face that stung. Before I could do anything he started pulling me out of my cell. As he was pulling me along we passed a glass wall and I faintly saw my reflection. Bright blue eyes stared back at me. My once beautiful brown hair was now unwashed and unkept. I was so distracted the next thing I knew I was being pushed into a room with no light. It was so dark I couldn't even see my hand if I put it right in-front of my face.
"Let me out!" I yelled banging aft on the door.
"Let me out!"
"Let me out!" After hours my voice was raw and spirit broken. "Please"

Steve's P.O.V

    Fury had called a meeting after dinner to talk  about our next steps to finding the director of HYDRA.
"The problem is I don't even know what this man looks like?" Tony said to Fury. Fury frowned at him.
"Well there's only one person in this room who's actually knows who this man looks like." All heads turned to Tara who had sun glasses over her eyes. "Tara care to help us out here?" No response. Except for a slight snore?
"Is she sleeping?" Tony asked trying to contain his laughter. With a scowl Fury walked up to her and slowly pulled off her sunglasses. We were met with closed eyes. Tony didn't even bother containing his laughter anymore. He was laughing so hard he fell out of his chair and onto the floor. I even let out a chuckle. Nat and Clint were smiling while Thor and Bruce just looked confused.
"Let me out" It was whispered so quietly that I wasn't even sure who said it.
"Let me out" I looked at Tara who was visibly flinching back and her voice was getting louder.
"Let me out!" I stood up and started shaking her shoulder.
"Tara?"
"Let me out!" I started panicking. I could see the roots of her hair turning black.
"Tara honey wake up"
"LET ME OUT" I was thrown back by a burst of darkness. I hit the wall so hard it cracked. But what I saw next broke my heart. Tara was rocking back and forth on the ground. Head pressed on her knees. Hair changing from black to white.

"Please"
