Chapter 13

Tara's POV

    My back has been pressed in the corner of the same room for what felt like days. My mind blank. I yelled and screamed at the door for hours. My voice was hoarse and spirit broken. What I knew for sure is they've neglected to feed me. But they also haven't tourtured me. I'm not sure what's worse. But I know I've been forgotten by everyone and everything I've ever loved.

Steve's P.O.V

    I sat in a chair beside Tara's bed waiting for her to wake up. Bruce had been able to stabilize her. I just hope she wakes up soon.
"Steve she's going to be fine." I snapped out of my gaze to see Bruce checking her vitals.
"How do you know that? Why hasn't she woken up yet?" Bruce looked at me sadly.
"It takes time. Something destabilized her body."
"Do we know what?"
"I've been analyzing it but it's so advanced I'm even having a hard time trying to find out what it's made of."
"HYDRA?"
"It's hard be sure but one would assume."
"Dr.Banner, Mr. Stark is asking for your assistance in the lab." JARVIS voice filled the room.
"Thank you JARVIS let Tony I'll be right there" Bruce gave me a tight lipped smile and walked out of the room. My attention turned back to Tara's sleeping form. I slowly reached out my hand and took her's in mine.

Bruce's P.O.V

      I walked into the lab to see Tony staring very attentively at the unknown entity.
"Tony you called?"
"I think I found out what it is"
"That's great let me see, we need to see if we can reverse it" Tony suddenly turns around.
"What if we don't try to reverse it?" I carefully took a step forward.
"What do you mean Tony?"
"She's a bad guy. She's killed so many people. What could happen if she just never came back. There would never be another life lost because of her."
"Tony she may not be the best person in the world. But none of us are. This team works to help the world. Not to give up on people. Look at me the other guy has done so many bad things but does that mean I should die? We do what we do to keep what happened to us to never happen to anyone else ever again."
"Your right let's figure out how to reverse this"
"That and Steve would have killed you"
