It's been 3 months since the fall of Octavio and the death of Mario, but there was a picture that showed the presence of Mario, but under the hands of the Octarians.
"Callie... where'd did you get this picture?" Asked Marie
"Well... I was working on some Splatfest theme until Gramps and 'LOVEE DOVEE VOICE' LUIGI... OH! Came in and showed me the picture. So basically Gramps was the one who brought the picture soo..."
"We have to move then! LETS GO AND SAVE HIM!" Ordered Marie
"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! JEEZ! let's go miss bossy!" Said Callie sarcastically
Back at the Squid Sisters Studio with Gramps and Luigi...
"Man linguini, that body of yours and your durability is amazing! If you were born with me, you would've been a monster at the Great Turf War." Said the Cap'n
"Emmm... thanks? And also, don't call me linguini... it's LUIGI... L-U-I-G-I." Luigi clearing things out
"Ehhh? Whatever, but you would've done amazing though!" Said the Cap'n
SLAM!
Door suddenly burst open with Callie and Marie instantly dashing towards the Cap'n and Luigi.
"Grandpa, where'd you say you found this?!" Ordered Marie
"Well... I woke up and was going to start exercising for once, but then in front of the door shack was the picture, and behind the picture was a posted note, it said 'Rescue my boo PLZ!' What does PLZ even mean?!" Said the Cap'n
"Wait... EXCUSE ME?! MY BOO! MARIO IS MINE ONLY! UNLESS THEY WANT A FIGHT!" Said Marie angrily and jealously
"Marie that's not important! What's important is that this suspect knows who Mario is, and probably wants to help us." Reasoned Callie
"Do any of you have a plan at least?!" Asked the Cap'n
10 seconds of awkward silence... (add chirping sounds if y'all like it)
"Umm..." was all Luigi could say before he had a feeling of being... watched, Luigi turned around to check but there was no one... awkward.
"Marie, you think of saving your boyfriend without a consent of having a plan?!" Yelled Callie
"Hey! I've been feeling down ok! Unlike you, you have all the time to be with your boyfriend Luigi!" Responded Marie
"WAH...*BLUSH* L-Luigi is n-"
"Callie, don't give me that crap, you always talk about him when you're with me, in your sleep, breakfast and even in the SHOWER!" Roared Marie
CALLIE BLUSH METER: ITS OVER 9000!
Marie and Callie went back and forth roasting and embarrassing about their love life, the Cap'n tries to stop both of them but no luck.
When Luigi was about to leave the room he noticed a figure hiding behind the counter, he tried to carefully approach it but the figure fled the room.
"HEY!" Luigi said as he left chasing the figure
Luigi started chasing the figure which bolted downstairs and into the alleyway
The figure was fast, but not clever enough as Luigi.
Luigi got an ice flower and summoned an ice wall the blocked the exit of the alleyway.
The figure didnt react fast enough and hit itself on the wall knocking it unconscious.
