The Unspoken Truth

Chapter Seven

I wake up and look at the clock it's 10:30am "shit" I yell, causing Willow to jump up. "What?" She asked, I give her a look and say "look at the time we have to leave in 30 minutes." So her and I get dressed and head out the hotel. I check my phone and see I have texts from a random number and my mom. I read my mom's *Hey honey we didn't feel like stopping last night we are already in New York, but it's not a problem we are talking to the realtor at noon I will update you I love you be safe* I don't reply I go to the random number it says *Hey sexy ;)* confused I type back *who is this* and shove my phone back in my pocket when I hear Willow call for me. She asks me "what happened last night?" I look to the floor and say in a weak voice "you don't remember?" The feeling of worry falls over her "no....what happened...?" I lie to her "you got drunk and I took you to the room" Willow walks to the driver side and says "oh, I thought I did something bad, like you, why did you cut your hair?" I shrug it off and said "it doesn't matter,you don't remember let's keep it that way" she pulls back and looks at me "what is your problem?" I look at her and sigh "we had sex" Willow takes a big gulp, "we what...?" I raise my eyebrows and glance out the window all I can say is "yup" the rest of the time to New York was quiet. I put my head phones in and was listening to my Pandora when all of a sudden my phone lights up. It's a text from the random number replying back to my text *Carly, the girl you met at the bar a few day ago you gave me your number* I grin *Well, hey what are you doing right now* Carly responds *Do you really want to know?* the way the I read the text caused me to get aroused. With out regret I type *yeah* it takes Carly a few minutes to reply back with *I took a picture of you so I wouldn't forget about you, and well I'm really horny.... So I'm playing with my toys* I bite my lip to the thought and Willow catches me. I click my screen off my heart is racing I don't need her mad at me, but she fucking forgot what we did last night. The thought hurts she's my best friend....my crush....ugh...my love. She questions me "who are you texting?" I look to her and come out and say it "Carly...why?"  Willow looks away from me trying not to blow up in my face. We finally arive to our new home...its huge my parents walk out to meet us. The realtor comes over to Willow and I, shakes our hands and we sign some papers agreeing to everything listed. My parents kiss me goodbye and tells me to be safe and call all the time, man I'm gonna miss them. Willow walks in while I'm talking to my parents I start to take things out of the truck. (Willows  POV) As I walk through the doors I lay my eyes on a spiral staircase leading to upstairs. I look to my left than to my right, all I could see was big rooms filled with expensive furniture. I hear Carmen say her goodbyes as she shuts the door.  I look at Carmen " wow, would you look at this place can you believe this is ours" I look to Willow with a slight grin "yeah, I know! I feel bad because my grandmother passed for me to receive this place."  Willow grabs my shoulder and smiles " Its going to be okay, we better start getting our stuff in here I heard there will be a really bad storm" I say nothing and walk to the front door its starting to sprinkle already so I yell over to willow, who is touching everything "hey its sprinkling lets grab some movies and blankets and we will just do the rest tomorrow"  willow prances over and we get some things we need. when we walk in I look at willow "man, do you get the creeps because I really am" this causing anxiety for the both of us. " well I guess, do you want to go look at every room in the house and  get used to this place?"  with a worried expression she nods "yeah I'm going everywhere your going" I laughed and trotted up the stairs. I'm greeted by a long hallway, straight ahead is the master bathroom it looks gorgeous! It was a judge room with a big black marble counter with 2 sinks and one stand up shower, and a garden bathtub, it was huge. We walked out of the bathroom, we walked the hall all the way down to the end door. As we opened it Willow gasps, it's a office room/ library. Willow has always been a book fanatic, she runs over to the books, she's so cute! I love her so much. I just want to keep my distance for now, I don't know how she's been feeling lately, but I sure know what I'm feeling. I walk over to the desk and sit in the big black leather chair, and open the top drawer. There was pens, pencils, sticky notes, everything you would normally see but in the middle of this glittery note book is a note. It reads *Carmen.... I want you and only you to know this.... there is a safe behind the book shelf grab the green book on the far left 5th shelf.. and it shall open the code is 762378 "Carmen come look at this" I hide the note under the note book and walk over to where Willow is at.  She telling me about these books she want to read, I tell her to grab them and ask her to go back down stairs and that we will look at the other rooms tomorrow. Willow grabs the books, as soon as I close the door we hear a big rumble and we look at each other.  "Willow we are not gonna have a good first night here" she agreed. As we walk down the stairs we can hear the rain just pouring down I asked willow if she would like me to hook up the DVD player "yes I don't want to sit here in the dark and just listen to the storm that scares me more" I rub her back and tell her it's going to be okay. We watched movies till we fell asleep on the hard ground cuddled with each other.
