Deep within the thick and darkened woods, an old castle sat in ruins. It's walls had started to crumble away and it held no sign of life other than the wolves and owls that had turned this once magnificent structure into their home.
A young blonde haired girl walked into the clearing that surrounded the castle. I stood in front of the entrance to it as I noticed her walk towards me. A long floor length dress with her blonde hair braided at the top of her head and the rest of it fell down her back like a waterfall.
Nervously I turned around to face the lady and as soon as I met her eye's gaze, a loud explosive booming sounded from behind me. I didn't want to turn around to see the damage that it must've caused, but I did. And what I saw was the entire castle was in flames as well as the forest behind it.
A small fireball came flying towards me and when I went to back up from it, I found I was paralyzed. The fireball stopped moving and stayed floating in front of me. After a minute the flame seemed to melt away and a small bird - probably a Phoenix - appeared to come out of it. The Phoenix blinked for a second and then flew around me. I held out my hands in front of me and it landed in my hands for a moment and then flew back up. And sitting in my hands was a golden key with red and orange crystals adorning it's handle

All of a sudden my eyes flew open as I realized I was still in bed. I flung the covers off of me and ran around to get dressed.
After getting ready I ran downstairs and sprinted into the kitchen to see my mom cooking some eggs and bacon at the stove. I smiled at her before taking my seat at the table and waited for my food to be ready for me to eat.
My younger sister cane running into the room with her bright red ribbons that tied up her brown hair flowing behind her, she looked like she was going to a party instead of a school.
"Morning Sadie," I greeted her with a large smile on my face. Sadie looked back at me also with a large smile and took her seat next to me.
"Morning Sierra!" She exclaimed happily as her smile grew larger still. She then turned her attention to our mom as she brought over two plates of eggs and bacon. I noticed the orange juice container sitting in front of me and move to grab it when my twin sister, Sylvia came walking into the room and sat down across from me. Her signature straight face and drooping glance struck me as I reached for the bottle.
"Morning, Sylvia!" I heard Sadie call out to our sister as she adjusted herself in her seat. Sylvia gave a simple nod to Sadie before mom placed her plate onto the table in front of her. We ate quickly and in silence as nobody felt anything was worth talking about. After we finished our breakfast, Sylvia practically jumped up and ran out the door. I let out a sigh before giving my mom and sister a hug goodbye and then headed out to school on my own.
As I slowly walked down the street towards the bus stop, I noticed that most of the flowers were wilting and just yesterday afternoon they were thriving beautifully. I stopped for a moment at an alleyway as I heard the familiar voice of my twin, Sylvia talking to someone. I quickly dropped my bag at what I saw as I entered the alley. My sister was talking to a young girl with smoky black tattered leathery bat wings. But the most shocking sight to see was that Sylvia had transformed into someone new.
Her hair had gained an icy blue coloring towards the middle of her hair that faded to white at the tips. Her eyes were now a bright icy blue that matched her new hair color and her clothes were like a cross between a witch and a knight.
I stared at her as she pulled out a revolver pistol shotgun from out of nowhere and began attacking the winged girl. The bullets that hit the wall encased parts of it in ice as they hit. The winged girl kept dodging Sylvia's attacks and finally pulled out a weapon of her one; a long sword that seemed to drip with shadows.
She swung the sword at my twin and nearly took her head off. But luckily Sylvia dodged it in time. I was immobilized with fear and confusion at the sight before me as Sylvia finally managed to hit the winged girl and caused her arm wielding the sword to become encased in ice. As the girl struggled to break free, Sylvia moved forward and pulled out a dagger out of a sheath on her hip and stabbed the girl in the chest.
Sylvia turned around and saw me standing there. Her eyes went wide and she stumbled backwards. I decided it was a good time to acknowledge her and so I started walking towards her
"Sylvia what is all of this?" I asked her quietly as she pressed a gemstone that was located on her ring. After she pressed it her new looks and clothing seemed to shed off of her like smoke and she was back to the way I knew her. Sylvia started to open her mouth to say something when all of a sudden I saw a large winged wolf sneaking up from behind us that looked ready to pounce on Sylvia at any moment.
"Watch out!" I screamed out to her suddenly and she immediately twirled around to face the beast. She pressed her ring once again and a small key appeared in front of her. Sylvia grabbed the key and held it straight up before twisting it in the air. As she did so a sort of magic circle appeared around it with a padlock shape in the middle. As Sylvia turned the key, the padlock switched from closed to open and a bunch of light cascaded down onto Sylvia transforming her once again into a new person.
After she finished gaining her new looks, she twirled around and struck a pose.
"Silver! Witch Of The Snowflake!" She called out before pulling out her weapon once more and taking aim at the black winged wolf. She shot at it a few times, but it just ended up either missing it or the creature dodged it. I moved forward slightly to see if I could help when I heard Sylvia call back to me "Stay there!" She yelled, but I felt like I couldn't.
I needed to do something to help her. I held my hands against my chest and prayed to whoever. I prayed that I would have the power to help my sister fight. All of a sudden a light erupted from my chest and swirled around me in a multitude of different colors. I saw a ring that was similar to Sylvia's ring appear on my right middle finger and I remembered what Sylvia did to her ring. I hesitantly raised my left arm and pressed the ruby gemstone on my ring and waited for something to happen.
