After transforming, we took off. Apparently we have heightened senses and abilities once we transform. We bounded into the air and ran after the demon.
Sylvia pulled out her pistol and took aim at the flying demon just a few feet in front of us. It's long black hair flowed behind it's dark ash gray body as it floated in place. It too had black tattered and ripped bat wings. It's wings were flapping at a constant rate to keep itself flying up in the air.
Sylvia pulled the trigger and let the magically charged bullet shoot towards the demon. Sadly the bullet missed it's target and plummeted to the ground. I then realized I should try to combat it and pulled out my scythe from who knows where and activated the chain scythe mode that my weapon apparently has.
I moved to slice the end of the chain scythe against the demon and it flew upwards making me miss it. Suddenly a boomerang like blade had sliced right through the demon, causing it to burst into smoke and for the soul stone to appear.
The boomerang raced back by us and into the hands of a young girl with bright pink hair and matching pink eyes. Her skin was sort of tanned and she was wearing a dress like ours but in pink with the accent colors of gold and silver. She stood on the roof of a building with her face straight and serious as she faced us.
"You two newbies should learn how to battle demons properly," She said in a tone of contempt as she avoided looking at us. She then turned around and jumped off of the building and across the city to who knows where while my sister and I just stood there confused.
Turning to look at each other, we too jumped down and transformed back into our normal, everyday forms and headed back to the scene of our school. As we reached school we saw that the fire was under control and the student's families were there now attending to their children. I saw our mom standing off to the side looking all around the area for us and we quickly ran up to her.
"Mom!" Sylvia and I cried out in unison as we ran up to give her a big hug. She embraced us deeply and we could feel her tears falling down out of her eyes and into both of our hair and heads. She just kept holding us as we stood there in silence letting her revel in the moment that we were okay and are still here.
"I'm so glad both of you are okay," Out mom said as she finally let us go so we could breath. We looked at each other and nodded as she wiped the tears away from her face. We came to the conclusion that we wouldn't tell anyone about our Witch Girl personas, including our family.
"Do you think we should go home?" I asked both my mom and Sylvia as silence fell upon on us. "I mean we can't really go to school right now," I added quickly and we all looked at each other before mom nodded at us.
"Yes dear, let's go home," she whispered and we all walked off towards mom's car. But as I walked I couldn't help but think about the other Witch Girl we met earlier and who she is exactly. I mean we don't even know her Witch Girl name or even her title. And that bugged me. Could we even trust her?
My thoughts were suddenly broken by my mom looking back at me and calling my name.
"Huh?" I asked as I didn't hear her question and realized mom and Sylvia were having a conversation on where to eat without me. Both my sister and mother laughed for a little while.
"How about Mexican food for lunch?" Sylvia asked me as we already drove along the streets towards the local Mexican Restaurant; Mesa De La Abuela or it's English translation; Grandma's Table. They had good food and I wouldn't mind eating it so I shrugged and gave a slight nod to signify that I was okay with the food choice for lunch. And so we continued on our way to food.
As we drove along the streets, silence fell upon our car, and finally mom spoke up.
"So why were you two late for school this morning?" She asked as we pulled into the restaurant. Her question caused both of us to freeze in our places as we realized that the true reason was something we couldn't tell her or anyone.
"Not that I'm not glad you two are okay, but you left early so you shouldn't have been so late," She added as we sat down at our table and received our menu along with our chips, salsa, and queso dip. Sylvia and I began to hide behind our menus and choose not to answer, but our mom wasn't about to let the matter drop.
"Well?" She asked as she pulled down our menus to look at us in our eyes. Sylvia and I looked at each other once again before turning back to mom
"We saw and elderly lady carrying in some heavy bags and decided to help her," I said quietly and she seemed to but it as she moved back to sit straight in her seat and then she allowed us to pick up our menus again.
After lunch, mom said she had some errands to run and asked if we wanted to come with her. Sylvia decided to go along as she had some allowance money she wanted to spend on a few things, but I was exhausted and even though it was still day, decided to go home and sleep. Mom dropped me off before driving to the store and I went straight up to my room for my nap.
As I laid in bed, I couldn't stop thinking about that new Witch Girl once again. And I pictured her disgusted facial expression as I drifted off into deep sleep.

"You don't deserve to be a Witch Girl!" The pink haired girl yelled at me as we stood in a very bright white glowing void. We were both wearing our Witch Girl outfits and our hair was in that form as well. I felt tears of both anger and sadness well up in my eyes"I just started okay!" I yelled back, but suddenly the girl started fading away and my sister Sylvia came into view.
"She's right!" Sylvia yelled at me and my eyes widened "You're useless to me and to anyone!" She added harshly and Sylvia started laughing at me as I fell to the ground with tears and sobs wracking my body.

"I'm not useless!" I yelled outside of my Dream as I woke up from my nightmare. I had apparently fallen out of bed and landed on my blue fluffy rug and that's what woke me up. But as the nightmare I just had still fresh in my mind, I moved to my window bench seat and sat down. Staring out at the setting sun I realized I must've slept in really late."Sierra!" I heard my mom yell for me before a knock sounded from my door and my younger sister peaked her head
"Dinner's ready!" She exclaimed happily before shutting the door and I'm guessing she had skipped downstairs and into the dining room. I took one last look out my window and around my room before staring down at my ring that sits on my middle finger. I clasped my fingers together and placed my hand against my chest. Looking up at the heavens I made a vow
"I'll always try to be useful," I whispered before pausing and peaking down the hall before adding "and that I'll be a great Witch Girl,"
And that promise was something that I planned on keeping.
