Drip Drip Drip
The rain was falling and all New wanted to do was sleep. He closed his eyes and snuggled into his pillow. He almost slipped into dreamland when he felt a hand on his forehead.
He slowly opened his eyes and came face to face with a squatting Tay. He smiled at Tay and questioned what he was doing. Tay moved New's hair, ruffling it, and motioned New to move over a bit. He moved onto the bed next to New and wrapped his arms around New's shoulders, rubbing it when he felt New shiver.
New abandoned his pillows and snuggled into Tay's chest instead. He took a breath of Tay's scent, feeling high off of it.
Drip Drip Drip
New felt the cold run over his bare torso. He moved closer to Tay, trying to get as much heat as he could.
Tay whispered into, " Come closer. I'll be your personal heater."
New looked up at Tay's faced smiled, giving him a light gentle kiss. He then went back to the warmth of Tay's chest and slipped off in a deep slumber.
Drip Drip Drip
New heard the dripping of the raining, and was surprised by the fact that it was still raining. He then noticed he was still wrapped in Tay's embrace. He gently removed himself , not wanting to disturb the older latter.
Finally escaping, he grabbed his shirt that was on the desk beside him. He walked downstairs to the kitchen as he put his shirt on.
Upon arriving inside the kitchen, New started brewing coffee, watching the rain fall gently on the flowers through the window in front of him.
Beep
He grabbed the handle of the coffee brewer and poured the black coffee into a cup. He stirred milk into it and took a sip. He sighed in content at the warm sweet taste, thinking how everything was perfect.
His train of thoughts was interrupted when he felt a warm pair of arms hugging his waist. He glanced over his shoulders and smiled when he noticed it was Tay.
" Why did you get up?" Tay asked in his hoarse deep voice that was caused by the sleeping. New kissed Tay's nose and went back to his coffee, looking out the window," I'll come back in a second. Just admiring the rain."
Tay had his face snuggled into New's neck so New felt the frown that had formed on Tay's face. New laughed and turned around causing them to be in a position where New's back was on the counter and Tay was looming over him. New raised his eyebrows playfully," I remember now, you hate the rain, right? "
Tay nodded furiously," Very. It gets me all wet and I hate that. And it's always so cold."
New shook his head and grabbed Tay's head, leaning towards him so their foreheads were touching one another.
" But isn't it because of the rain we get to have a lazy day like this? That we get to stay in bed, hugging each other for warmth?"
Tay thought for a while, and wrapped his arms that were around New's waist tighter and smiled," I guess it's not all bad."
Drip Drip Drip
Climbing into bed, the two boys snuggled into each other embrace, craving one another warmth. Tay smiled as he took in a deep breath of New's scent, deciding that he liked rainy days. But only if New was there would he actually thank the rain. If not, then consider them enemies.
But the thought vanished as soon he felt New's hands gripping the back of his shirt. Tay gripped New's shoulders in response and moved them closer to each other even if it wasn't possible. The two latter then fell asleep, relieved of all their problems as they snuggled, feeling protected in each other embrace. And the rain? The rain was still outside, rumbling in joy for bringing two lovestruck people together.
