Lost and found

"Where do you want to go, Rose Tyler?"

The doctor had just rescued me out of the parallel universe. Through a small pocket of time. I thought I would never see him again.

I wipe my eyes at the thought of loosing him forever.

"Umm let's see." I stand there for a moment thinking, what if I really had lost him?

"Rose, you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I force a smile, and look up into his eyes. "It's fine really!"

"Rose?"

"I thought I had lost you forever."

"But you didn't, see you're here on the TARDIS!"

I smile when he says this, I didn't realize how much I'd missed this, the doctor, traveling through time and space.

He leaves what he was doing on the TARDIS, and slowly walks over to me. Concern written all over his face.

"Rose,-" he starts to say but them closes his mouth.

I realize how close we are standing, inches apart. I want to close the distance, but as far as the doctor, I don't think he feels the same way.

"W- what where you going to say to me, on Bad Wolf Bay? The last day we were together."

I look into his eyes, tears start rolling down my face, silently.

"I, I was," He looks down at the floor and rocks back once, then looks at me with a sad puppy face.

"I- I love you." He smiles sheepishly at me.

I smile, my classic tongue in teeth smile.

"Oh I've missed that smile!"

I smile even wider.

"Oh Doctor, my doctor, promise me something, you will never leave me again."

He looks at me, his smile turning into a bold look of concern.

"Rose Tyler, I would never-"

I look at him, knowing where this is going to go, I close that gap. The gap that was longing to be closed.

I press my lips to his, he just stood there stunned for a moment. I pulled away quickly, embarrassed.

"Sorry, sorry I just." I look up sadly, he is looking at me, with confusing in his eye.

He pulls his hand up and cups my head with his big hands, and looks at me, smiling. Smiling with that big grin, I feel in love with.

"Rose, don't you ever doubt that I wouldn't stay with you forever. The day you spoke to the TARDIS, the day I regenerated. I know, I just knew you were never going to leave me, I wouldn't let you."

I look at him, tears streaming down my face.

"Aw don't cry now Rose." He gently slides his thumb across my check.

"Don't cry."

He brushes his soft, warm lips across my cheek.

This is enough to make it feel like I'm melting, right hear in the heart of the TARDIS, fantastic.

I close my eyes and part my lips slightly.

"Doctor I-"

I feel his lips collide into mine. Silencing me, I smile into the kiss. And kiss him back, passionately. He deepens the kiss.

Finally I pull away, and smile at him."

"Right, where should we go, Rose Tyler?"
