"Elpída!" A loud voice booms behind me, startled, I drop all my charcoals.
"Jessie, why would you do that! I just got these."I mumble as she bends down to help me pick them up. Already noticing two or three broken.
"I'm sorry." She whines while giving me a sad smile. "But I have something to tell you. You remember a certain guy in high school who-"
"Um, I think these belong to you." She's cut off by a deep masculine voice.
I look at the hand that's collected many of my pieces that scattered over the hallways floor.
"Thank you so much.." My eyes meet his turquoise ones.
"Xavier?" His name leaves my tongue involuntarily.
He gives me a nod before dropping the charcoals in my hand and walking away.
"Well, yup. Xaviers here, that's what I was going to tell you.. He was in my Psychology class... He looks so different." She spoke as I stared at him walking away.
"Maybe's it's because it's been like around two years since we've seen him." I finish putting the charcoals back in their container and put them in my bag
"Are you ok?" She ask with a caring look.
"Yes, Jessie" I give a little laugh as her shoulders fall.
"You're stiff. I know you like the palms of my hands, you're upset. Are you ok?" She ask while we walk into our class and walk up to our regular seats.
"I'm not upset, just... I don't know how to feel. After everything that happened I never thought I'd see him again." I let out honestly.
She nodded her head while taking my hands in hers.
"Well you know I'm here for you." I give her a small smile before turning my attention to our professor.

"That essay is not due for another two weeks.. what cha doing?!"
I look up at Jessie. "There's nothing wrong with getting things done early."
She rolls her eyes before getting off my bed, trying to avoid stepping on my papers as she made her way to my closet.
"It's literally Friday night. Josh texted and said they're having a party at his frat."
I shook my head. "No, sis. I'm working here."
She let out a loud groan before plopping herself on the bed.
It's been two weeks since I've had to walk by Xavier everyday on my way to my art class.
Those are my most dreaded 30 seconds everyday.
I continue to type and I begin to search through my pictures for the picture I took of the notes the week prior.
"I can't find the notes" I pout.
"Plug it in to your mac, it organizes it in the app."
I plug in my phone and look through my pictures on the computer.
My attention is caught by an old folder.
'These little memories' is the title of it.
I hesitated before pressing on it, knowing what I'd find.
There they were. Every picture Xavier and I ever took when we were together in high school.
Us at home coming, the winter dance, many pictures of us at our favorite lunch and dinner spot "The Hot Spot", at his dads cabin...
And I stared at a picture I did not know I had.
A picture of him and I..... and Katy.
I shut my lap top.
"You know what, I am pretty tired of sitting on this floor so how about I do take you up on that offer of getting dead drunk."
She jumps off my bed and speeds to her closet in the other room.
"I gotta find a dress." She squeals as I laugh while cleaning up my things.
My smile fades when my memory strikes back to his face.
The day I lost all respect for him and took any love I had felt and crushed it... My mind just stay's focused on that smirk.
"I need a drink." I huff while getting up.
"So know what... Forget the frat party, Let's go to Luke's club" I yell over to her.
"That's the only club they let us in and drink." She laughs while sliding on her black dress while making her way back into my room.
"Yea. But they say it's the best in the city and, it's better than a frat party." I make my way to my closet.
"Should I go with, 'I just came to dance with my girls' or, 'I'm here to be what you wish you could have'?"
I held up my 'Hermione mini' dress and then my 'start the show sequin' dress.
"I'm here to fuck up your life, dress." She pointed to the sequin dress as I smiled.
