The Mistletoe.

It's everybody's favorite time of year..Christmas! The streets are lit, the city is decorated, everybody bundled up in warm clothes while full of Christmas cheer..

McDuck Manor was infested with Christmas cheer, more than you can think of.

Huey helped Beakley with some decorations, lights, wreaths, little potted trees, the list goes on.

Louie was just bundled up for the cold weather, not helping with anything. *Sigh* Typical Louie..

Dewey snuck to the decoration box while Huey and Beakley were hanging up a garland, and picked up a wonderful sight. The sign of love at Christmas, the little mistletoe!

Dewey blushed at the thought he was thinking, and quietly said to himself,

"I wonder if...Webby would like to use this with..me..?"

Beakley came back over.

"Dewey?"

"AGH! Oh, yes, Ms. Beakley?"

"Be a dear, and pass the pinecones, please?"

"Oh, uhm..sure."

Dewey dug his hand through the holiday mess, until he found pinecones that actually have spikes on them.

"Here you go!"

"Thank you, dear."

Beakley turned back again.

"May I ask, what is that you're holding?"

Dewey flashed bright red as he remembered the mistletoe he was holding. (Oh crud, not the Beakley-nator.)

"Just a piece of a Christmas tree, nothing to worry about!"

"Hmm.."

The big-boned duck then turned back, and started to place the pinecones on the garland.

Dewey then ran back to the hall, and sat at the dead end everybody gets trapped in.

"I have to wait for the perfect moment to hang this up.."

Webby came down the hall to sit in the dead end corner as well.

Dewey knew he was screwed as he heard her footsteps get closer.

"Well, the only way out is to..RUN!"

Dewey ran like Sonic, slid down the rail to the foyer and opened the door.

"Where're you goin', Lad?" Uncle Scrooge asked.

"Just outside, the snow has great playing conditions!"

As much as he loved the snow, he couldn't play this time. He had to avoid every piece of contact with Webby, he wanted the mistletoe to be her Christmas present this year.

He peeked in the window of the foyer, and nobody was in sight.

"Great, now to hang this baby up."

Dewey crawled back inside, making sure he wasn't seen, he grabbed a ladder he had found, stood on it, and hung up the mistletoe.

~~~A time-skip to Christmas -I had to skip so this part would make sense.-~~~\
A great Christmas celebration was happening at the Mansion.
Huey, Donald, and Launchpad all sang traditional Christmas carols,
Louie was lying on the couch,
"Get up, Lad. Have some Christmas spirit in ya!"
"But Uncle Scrooge!"
"That's it.."
Scrooge use his cane to hook the neck of Louie's sweater, and dragged him off the couch.
"Now, no more lazing around."
"Yes, Uncle Scrooge.."
"On the 12th day of Christmas my best friend gave to me, 12 days of Christmas, 11 days of Christmas, 10 days of Christmas, 8 days of Christmas, oops, forgot the ninth day!" Launchpad sung, with very bad math skills.
Webby saw a shy Dewey staring at her from under the mistletoe.
She walked over to question the strange thing above him.
"Hey Dewey, what's that?"
"Oh, that's a mistletoe!" Dewey said, trying to hide the fact he put it there.
"What's it for?"
Dewey blushed. "Well, they saw when two ducks stand under the mistletoe, they should kiss.."
Webby flashed pink and stood up straight, surprised at the purpose of the mistletoe.
"Should we..kiss..?" Webby asked shyly.
"EH?! Well...we don't have to..I-I mean.. if you want to..you don't-"
Webby started to walk closer to his red face.
"To..W-Webby..?"
Webby hung on to his sweater, and once again pressed her beak onto his, holding a shorter kiss this time.
"Merry Christmas, Dewey.."
Dewey had a blissful and swooned looked on his already Santa red face.
"Merry Christmas, Webby.."
He went over to whisper to her,
"I was the one who put that there.."
"I know.."
"Wait..HOW DID YOU-?!"
"I saw you pick it out of the box, you even ran outside so nobody could see you!" Webby giggled.
"Well, gotta go! Try and catch me, strawberry face!"
Webby dashed down the hall, laughing.
"WEBBY!" Dewey shouted as he scurried after her.
Bye-bee! \oUo/
Happy Holidays!
This story is based off something I saw off Tumblr, I read the artist's name, but I need to check again to credit her. If you want to see the doodles of the story, look up "debbigail perfectly in sync"! She's really good at drawing, btw. owo
The picture at the top is also one of her drawings.
