I woke that morning and stretched "oh god I'm so fucking hungry" I said to myself as I got up and looked at myself in the mirror "hello satan" I said with a chuckle and went into the bathroom "ok first things first" I said as I turned to my shower "gotta get clean

After a bit I stepped out if my bathroom with a towel and browsed the closet of clothe me and Michael bought yesterday "hmm...ah!" I snapped my finger 'just like Iggy thought me' and I reached into the closet and pulled out a nice white t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans with black heeled boots and a leather jacket "lets be a biker today" I chuckled to myself ((I'm sorry if any girls here got offended or anything I'm a guy so idk how girls choose clothes))
Shortly after dressing I walked back into my bedroom to brush my hair and braid it and had it set across my shoulder "ok lets go see Michael for breakfast" I texted him to me me at the market place in 15 minutes "alright lets go" I left the levvile and started down the pathway to the market and as I walked I overheard a small conversation "did you hear? The crown city fell last night" I was confused "yea I heard the empire killed the king and Prince and left insomnia in shambles !" I couldn't belive what I heard and I didn't it was probly just a ruse to get people all worked up "people these days" I shrugged and sat down at the chaurs used for the restaurant and wife for mike which luckily didn't take too long as he cane jigging down the way "hey (y/n) sorry for the wait" he said "I smiled and waved "no worries I just got here a little earlier" he sat down and we started talking again "did you hear about insomnia?!" He asked and I nodded "yea but I don't believe it" I said "just because I heard 2 people talking its not true" mike shook his head and pulled out a newspaper clipping "it is true! Take a look!" I took the paper and browsed it as it showed a picture of insomnia and the empire "last nughts peace treaty went horribly wrong as the empire attack the city in mass numbers and king regis and Lady lunafreya have been announced dead as for prince noctis he is presumed dead since no one has found his body or heard from him since the attack"
I went wide eyed "its...its true?!" Mike nidded sadly "it is..." I started to panic "what if we are next?! Lestallum is the biggest settlement outside lucis what if we are attacked next!" Mike jumoed over to me and held my shoulders "claire claire calm down! Its ok they arnt gonna come here" he looked me in the eyes with promise and I niddee and took a few breathes "thanks..." He nodded and sat back in his seat "its ok (y/n) I'm here for you as your friend" I smiled "thanks" he nodded with a smile
After we ate I decided to go for a walk "insomnia has fallen...we need to protect our cities more now...in case this happens again" I said to myself. So I turned to head to the nearest weapons dealer "welcome to the warmaidens how can I help you?" The dealer said "gauntlets" I said and he nodded "a woman of combat I like it will those be defense gauntlets or martial artist gauntlets" I smirked "martial artist" he nodded and reached down and pulled out a pair of basic level fighters bracers "here you go some of my finest work" I nodded and took them "thanks" he smiled "first set is always free" I smiled "great thanks again" I turned around and walked off towards the parking lot and down to the telescopes "now I gotta find a way to practice" I thought to myself and I realized that there were hunts everywhere in lucis "great now I can train and get paid" I said to myself with a snap "alright lets get started" but little did I know that back in galdin 4 boys were gearing up to arrive here
