3. A crush feels new while love feels familiar ------------------------------------------------------ You and Hobi screamed out the lyrics in confidence (although it was wrong) and started dancing when the song "IceCreamCake" by RedVelvet was played on Hoseoks playlist.
Both of you laughing and enjoying someones presence just as it is. You both didn't care wether you both were geting weird stares from people and getting judged. You see, both of you decided to go to the library to do a project that Hoseok received. You are homeschooled but still wanted to help him out since you know a thing or two about science.
You both finally shut up when a few people shushed you. You snickered slowly and started on the project. You made the model and he wrote the notes. A few hours later, you were using a knife to cut a few wires but accidently got distracted (somehow) and accidently cut your left pointer finger. You silently hissed and slowly placed the knife beside you and held your finger. Nobody noticed but Hoseok went to steal glances at you every once in a while and saw your finger. He took out a packet of tissue, took one and wrapped it around your finger. You both locked eyes as Hobi's heart felt warm. It wasn't nervousness or scared, it felt...nice. It felt like years of stress and hard work but being greeted by home and the feeling of someone engulfing him in hugs a kisses. THAT feeling.
You both finally broke away from the trance after what it felt like hours because of the librarian standing up and telling everyone to go home since they are closing it. Both of you cleaned up everything and walked back home. You talked on your way home and finally came to a stop in front of your house. "Again, thank you so much for helping me with the project Y/N. If I hadn't, I would've been a clueless idiot" he said and making a dramatic sigh and hugging you. (Like how he hugged Taehyung during the DayDream shoot and those CUTE LITTLE SOUND EFFECTS HE MADE OMFG-) You chuckled and hugged him back. You hugged longer than expected. You both didn't want to let go but you had too. Hoseok, the one to start it, ended it hesitantly and you said goodbye.
You turned and walked to your door and saw Hobi walking away. You ran to him and called his name. He turned around and you pressed a soft kiss on his cheek and sprinted into your house. You slide down the door with your face bright red and not knowing that Hoseok's face was also red with his hand placed on the spot you kissed and smiled dreamily.
He went home with a proud look on his face and did his night routine. He went to sleep with a smile carving itself on his face without him noticing.
