3. A crush feels new while love feels familiar ------------------------------------------------------ People felt nice and unbothered by both of you sitting together and doing school work. Your hair was framing your face perfectly as you started drawing the model on your personal notebook.
Hoseok sat beside you as he wrote some notes and did some homework. He even stole some glances at you when you decided to hum "Day Dream", a song he made and showed to you a few days ago.
After a few minutes of drawing, you decided to make the model based on your drawing. You needed to use some wires but realized it was a tad bit too long so you decided to the end of the wire covered with rubber and cut it. You didn't quite know how it happened but you managed to accidentally cut your pointer finger. You hissed quietly and placed the scissors on the table. Hoseok glanced at you in confusion for placing the scissors in a quick but gentle manner. He saw you finger and ushered you to sit down. Once you sat down, he took a pack of tissues that he had in his pocket and wrapped it around your finger.
Your eyes met each other as they realized how beautiful there were. You gulped nervously as you had never felt this feeling before. Both of your hearts beat with the same rythm and you both just enjoyed each others presence. It felt like...home.
You stared and stared and stared until you suddenly got out of the trance and cleared your throat. "I-I should continue working on this. The library is going to close in a few hours so we have to be quick", you slowly said while tearing your eyes from his face and continued working on the project, making sure you were being careful. Hoseok was disappointed by the lack of "feelings" he felt coming from Y/N. Did she felt uncomfortable around him? Did she not like him? He cleared his mind and continued working on the notes.
~Time SKIP~
The library had closed and you were walking together side by side. He talked and you listened, quietly nodding or making hums so Hoseok knows that you are listening. You came to a stop in front of your house and he sighed. "Y/N, thank you so much for helping me finish this project early. If I didn't ask for your help, I probably would've failed this class. Now! We can hang out with each other more! And can you help me with my presentation? I have to practice speaking in front the class," he said bashfully. You smiled and held his hand. "It's okay Hobi, it would have been boring to just stay home and not see you and sure. I'll be happy to help you" you smiled and Hobi hugs you. You hugged back and it lingered longer than expected. You felt safe around him. He felt the same. You hesitantly let him go and cupped his face gently. "Y/N.." Hoseok sighed. You quickly fought with your thoughts and kissed his cheeks before sprinting to the door and closed it. Hoseok was left confused and surprised. He smiled and went home.
When he finally arrived home, he did his night routine and before he went to sleep, he got a message from you. You messaged the time, date and place to meet. He smiled and finally went to sleep with a smile carved in his face.
