Delia thanked her lucky stars as she was led back to her room. Hopefully, they would continue to shine upon her.

She glanced at Teodora, who walked along next to her, then at Emile, who followed along behind. He'd known, somehow. He'd known that Alice was planning to kill those first three girls up. But how?

Deila slowed down again until she wass walking side by side with Emile. To her surprise, Teo didn't say anything. Probably gloating. "You cheated again," she said to him, glaring.

"It's my job," Emile whispered back. "You don't actually get disqualified for it, you know."

"That's hardly fair..." Delia muttered.

"It's the game," Emile replied, shrugging. "But if it comes down to it... I hope you win."

Delia blushed, her heart beating double time. She pushed the feeling deep down into her gut. She couldn't just like someone. That was ridiculous, and besides, she had a boyfriend. Didn't she? The memory danced away from Delia's mind, leaving her frustrated.

"Something wrong?" Emile asked innocently, cocking his head to the side.

"No," Delia replied, feeling as though her face could be mistaken for a fire truck. "I'm fine."

"Okay," Emile said, obliviously looking forward to where Teo walked (read: pranced with her nose in the air) beside the servant. She looked as though she were flattering him. He blushed. She grinned and asked something.

Delia blocked it out. At least she knew where Teo got her information- and really, it almost madee sense. She'd pictured Emile more as the information-gathering type, though. No doubt he'd find it easy to get information from one of the other girls...

...like her. She looked at him surreptitiously. Was that what he was trying to do?

No. Delia didn't think that Emile was really the type to do that. He'd caught her looking and smiled at her. She smiled back shyly.

"So," Emile said. "Have you ever heard any Wonderland bands?"

"No. Do you know any good ones?"

"As a matter of fact, I do..."
