(A/N: Hello, I won't be updating in a while. It's our break and we have some holidays to celebrate. Please excuse my errors here, I wrote this at 2 AM. Anyways, happy holidays everyone!)







"ACTION!" I hear the director. I got into the mood quickly.

"I'm always right there inside your heart even when I'm far away. Not physically, but with you in an abstract way. Once I become an idol, you could go to Seoul and see me. And I won't forget that I promised to marry when we grow up a little more okay? Now stop crying. You'll look like a steamed bun again." We're in junior high school uniforms, at the park at night, filming the part where Jihoon— Taejin makes a promise before leaving to go to Seoul to fulfil his dream of becoming an idol.


"You really really really promise?" He has his hands cupping my cheeks and wiping each tear drop the rolls down my face. I'm glad this is the last scene we're shooting for the day. It's way too intimate and awkward for me. I hope the awkwardness we have doesn't show on camera.


Taejin raises his pinky finger, "I promise." We intertwine both of our fingers. He pulls me into a hug.

"I'll definitely miss you."

"CUT! Great work everyone!" I immediately pull away to turn around and face the staff. Bowing at each and every one of them.



My eyes look for Sheena as soon as finished bowing.




And unfortunately, I can't find her.




Oh right. She needed to go early since the agency called for her.




I wander my eyes at the staff packing their things and wrapping up.



"Hey. Great work today." I hear a deep voice. I freeze upon knowing who it was. He's still beside me. How can he be so casual when this is the first time he spoke to me.



"Thanks. You too." I turn to face him but my eyes are focused somewhere else. If he's gonna keep on acting like this then I guess I have no other choice but to do the same.


"Where's Sheena?" Oh yeah. I almost forgot. He knows her too. Probably because of how many times he asked for me to her.

"She had something for the night with our agency." Still, my eyes are looking elsewhere.


"Ahh." Then there's silence. I didn't even bother going somewhere else since that would initiate another conversation with him if I had to leave. Also, I'm waiting for someone to pick me up.



"Kate..." I bit my lip as I slowly close my eyes. I'm not ready for this.



"I think we should talk." I sigh deeply, opening my eyes the same pace I closed it.



"Listen, Jihoon—"



"Kate!" I hear from a short distance. I turn to see a man in a leather jacket and gray shirt.


"Daniel!" He removes his helmet and runs towards me. He brought his motorcycle with him.



"How was day 1?" He's taking off his leather jacket.


"It was great! I hope my acting looks good on camera." Daniel chuckles, putting his over me and helping me wear it.



"You've always been great with acting, don't even worry about it!" I smile at him. He really knows how to make me smile.



A sudden change of expression appears on his face, he noticed Jihoon behind me, who probably has been staring at us the whole time.




"Oh. You're back?" There wasn't anger in Daniel's voice. But plain coldness.



"You are...too." Jihoon smirks, teasingly. He shouldn't be like this. Daniel stares back at him with a blank expression, but I feel the intense atmosphere already.



"Let's go, Daniel." I repeatedly pull the hem of his gray shirt. He looks at me with worry and nods.



"We'll go now, Jihoon. Have a good night." I look at him but not for so long since neither did I want to see nor hear his reaction.


Daniel gives me the extra helmet as we walk to his motorcycle. Something's urging me to look back.



I glance behind us, I see Jihoon, his eyes are showing how frustrated and angry he is.




I didn't want to witness more and so I look back, only focusing on Daniel.
