"You know that you'll be debuting as an actor soon, right?" The man sitting down behind a table says.

"Yes." The boy in front of him nods.

"Let me get this straight, Park Jihoon. I know that you're in a relationship with that rookie actress." Jihoon looks down, no words can escape out of his mouth.

"If the media finds out that you're dating her, you know what's going to happen. You're still an idol, Jihoon. You have a lot of fans. That's what keeping your career alive. Now if you're not going to leave her, we'll take action." He breathes heavily, as his anger his rising.

"Don't you dare do anything to her." His voice can be heard, sturdy and clear.

"You can't break the contract Jihoon. That's a lot more risky rather than just leaving her." He clenches both of his fists, trying to suppress his exasperation.

"So you better make up your mind already. Leave her or we'll simply ruin her career." The man stands up, slowly walking to Jihoon.

Kate

I slowly place the phone before my ear. "Hello?"

"Kateeeeeeee..." I give out a deep sigh. This is stressing me out.

"Jihoon. Please stop contacting me." I couldn't block his number since there might be meetings with the director that involves both of us. He's been calling me every time he's drunk. I guess he didn't learn from the slap that I gave him.

I slapped him, after I the talk we had. He's a lot more egocentric and shallow than I thought.

"What..?" And then I couldn't hold back anymore. My tears are flowing out.

"I just wanted to debut as an actor. That's it. That's why I left. I studied it and had a little break." I slapped him. He looks so careless and cold saying that. He didn't look like the old Jihoon that I knew.

"JIHOON, DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW SELFISH YOU LOOK RIGHT NOW? THAT'S IT? THAT'S WHY YOU LEFT ME? I KNOW YOU  WANTED TO BE AN ACTOR BUT JIHOON— YOU KNOW MY HEART. YOU KNOW HOW DEEPLY I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU, BUT YOU LEFT SO SUDDENLY. WITHOUT TELLING ME ANYTHING. I WAS LEFT ALONE. AND WHEN I TRIED CONTACTING YOU FOR MONTHS, YOU DIDN'T GIVE A RESPONSE. YOU COULD JUST TELL ME THAT YOU'LL PURSUE YOUR DREAMS AND WE NEED TO PART WAYS— THAT WAS SO SIMPLE TO DO. YOU COULD JUST TELL ME." I can barely see him now because of how blurry my vision is. I know he's not staring directly at me.

"You didn't give me a reason at all after you left me, Jihoon. That was so sudden. You left me there for hours, not having a clue what's happening at all. You didn't even bother getting in contact with me." I didn't want to act brave in front of him. It's not even worth it. And he's still not saying anything.

"You know what's worse? When you came back you acted like nothing happened between us when I expected you to give me a reason immediately after you returned. But you didn't. You would pass by me as if I was nobody for you. How did you even manage to look at me without feeling any regrets? You're a horrible person, Jihoon." I start to walk away from him.

"Also, don't ever show up in front of me again. Don't contact me. Don't ever come back. I wish you to be able to live well." My voice was calmer than before.
