Before We Met

Doctor visits.

Yesterday I didn't go to school.

My chest was hurting because of my coughing all through the night.

Although my chest still hurts,I'm going today.

Kaitlyn wanted to be all fancy and drive today since she officially got her licence. That and she didn't want to go to the doctors with me today after school.

As I walk into the school and made my way into the library I was literally attacked by Kaitlyn.

'It's only been a day dummy' is what I wanted to say but I didn't.

"Yeah hi Kaitlyn"

She released me and we sat at a table in the library.

"She how was not coming to school"

I narrowed my eyes at her and laid my head on the table"it was horrible I rather be here"

Kaitlyn comes to sit next to me and rubs my back.

"I'm sorry baby casi how are you feeling"

"It honestly felt like someone had sand paper and was rubbing it against my lungs yesterday.... today I'm ok"I looked at her

I could tell that she was holding back her sympathy because she knows I hate it.

She nodded and got up"let's go to our lockers now so you don't have to rush"

I nodded and got out of the chair while grabbing my book bag.

Kaitlyn offered to hold it but I denied her offer.

As we walked up to my locker I simply put my book bag in and grabbed a pen and went to homeroom. Today I decided not to bring books that I need for my classes to homeroom because I didn't feel like holding it.

Blake walked up to me with a small smile on his face.

"Hello sick one"I smiled at him. Oh I'm sick alright....

"Hello concerned one"all day yesterday between coughing and wheezing I was texting Blake. All I did was tell him that I wasn't feeling good today.

"Are you up for the party today"oh fuck. I completely forgot.

"Of course I am"I smiled at him and then looked at Kaitlyn and she gave me a questionable look.

"Ok around 9 good?"I looked at him and nodded

"Yeah I'll text you my address"

He smiled and went back to his friends.

"Are you sure you're ready for this Acasia?"I looked at her

"Of course I'm ready are you ready?"she smirked

"I'm always ready to partayyyy."I rolled my eyes and laughed at her.

As the bell rang for class we left and headed our ways. As the classes went by, my coughing continued but not to much even though every time I did cough my chest would hurt so I'm thankful that I'm going to the doctors after school.

I didn't really pay attention to classes so when I finally could go to lunch I was grateful.

I slowly walked to lunch which by the rate I was walking was about 10 minutes.

As I sat down Kaitlyn passed her pizza over to me but I simply pass it back to her.

She gives me a disapproving look and passes it back I narrowed my eyes at her and let out an exaggerated breath.

"Why don't you want to eat"I look over to Tony as he eats one of his 4 pieces of pizza.

I shrug"I'm not hungry"
