Tony wasn't really paying attention to class that day. Well, let's be honest, he never does. He's the smartest and richest kid in the school. School is basically just his haven away from his parents and his own personal playground. When he wasn't hanging out with his friends during his free periods, he was usually tinkering on one of his inventions to pass the time during his class time.
Today though, his attention was on something else besides one of his many gadgets.
It was on one blonde jock with the most piercing blue eyes Tony had ever seen. The blonde wasn't really paying attention to the class either. He was instead drawing in a old fashioned, leather sketchbook.

Tony couldn't help but take interest in the boy. He looked as if he was one of those stupid jocks who all they had to offer the world was their muscles, but from observing him, he seems to be quite shy and very charming. He was also quite handsome and Tony did have a thing for blondes with blue eyes.

The class went by quickly for Tony; he could spend all day looking at that blonde boy. Tony got startled and jumped at the loud sound of the bell ringing. As the other students were getting up to go to lunch, Tony waited for the blonde.

The blonde must have been oblivious to the bell. It had already been 10 minutes into lunch and the blonde had not made one step to getting up from his position.

Tony wasn't getting tired of staring at the blonde but the silence was killing him. Tony grabbed his tablet and put it in his bag before walking over to the blonde. He sat down in the chair across from the blonde. Tony couldn't help but chuckle at the blonde's obliviousness to his existence. Tony tapped him on his broad, muscular shoulder which earned him a glance from the blonde.

"Hey there blondie," Tony said, flashing the blonde a charismatic smirk, to which the blonde returned with a small blush.

"Um...hi there." Steve said, unsure of what Tony wanted.

Steve has never really had a personal conversation with Tony, but he already knew a lot about him from the rumors everyone told him. He knew that Tony was rich, he was a player with both men and women, and he knew that he was smart as hell. Still, Steve had no clue what Tony wanted to talk to him about.

"Did I do something?" Steve asked, suddenly feeling quite anxious in front of Tony.

"I-uh-" Tony had to quickly think of a reason to have alone time with the blonde. Tony quickly searched for anything on the desk that had a name on. His eyes landed on the blonde's varsity jacket, labeled 'Cap. Steven Rogers' "Steven, right?"

Steve nodded, "I go by Steve actually." He corrected the shorter brunette.

"Well, Steve, I haven't been doing so well in a couple of my classes, so I was wondering if you could help me out...Captain." Tony said as he bit his lip.

Steve couldn't help but get slightly turned on by the lip bite and nickname. His ex-girlfriend, Peggy, used to say it to. The way she said it
never really turned him on personally, but the way Tony said it made Steve's skin crawl.

Steve cleared his throat, trying to distract himself from his own blush. "Sure, I-uh-I don't have practice on Tuesdays and Fridays. I'm also always free on the weekends."

Tony nodded. He really didn't need the extra help at all. He was naturally great at anything that involved his intellect. "Tuesdays and Fridays sound great. I might not always be able to do it on the weekends though. Do you mind if we start right now? I wasn't really paying attention during class today." Tony said as he moved his bookbag so it was on his lap.

Steve gave Tony a sheepish smile, "To be honest, I wasn't either. We can go over it together though?" Steve offered.

Tony smiled in return. "Alright." Steve was about to pull out his textbook when Tony said, "Here, let's just share a book." Tony stood up from his seat across from the blonde and took the seat next to him.

As Tony and Steve were going over the material that they both missed that day, Steve couldn't help but concentrate on how close they were. Their shoulders were barely touching which already made Steve's heartbeat go up, but when Tony's hand even grazed Steve's, it would send his body into eternal shock.

"I think that's good for today Rogers," Tony said, as he let out a small yawn.

Steve mentally awed at Tony's yawn. It reminded him of a newborn kitten. " Yeah, where should we meet for tomorrow?"

Tony was confused about what Steve meant by tomorrow. "Tomorrow? What's tomorrow?" Tony asked, scratching his head in confusion.

"Our first study date." Steve mentally slapped himself when he heard his own words.

Tony smiled back at Steve, "It's a date." Tony quickly packed up all his stuff and went towards the exit. Just as he was about to leave the room, he turned back around to Steve and said, "Let's go see a movie afterward." Steve gave him a small smile and nodded to Tony in response. Tony flashed Steve his signature smile. "See'ya tomorrow Cap." He saluted the taller blonde before rushing out of the room.

Steve wanted to follow the shorter brunette out of the room but he didn't want to scare the other male off with his curiosity.

Steve jumped out of his deep thought of whether to follow Tony or not when he heard a soft knock from the doorway. There stood his best friend, Bucky, with his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the doorframe. "You okay man? You looked..." He paused, trying to find the right word. "...confused."

It may not have been the most sophisticated use of vocabulary, but honestly, confused was the best word to describe how Steve was feeling. "I'm fine, Buck. Just-I guess you could a certain someone has me a little confused..."

"Is it Peggy?" Bucky questioned. "She's been going around saying that you two are back together. Is it true?"

Steve shook his head vigorously. He and Peggy had been dating since freshman year. They broke up a few months ago after Steve realized that women weren't really his thing. Steve didn't tell her that's why they broke up, he simply just said that he fell out of love with her. He technically he wasn't lying. Steve was sure that he was once in love with her, romantic and sexual love, no- but definitely loved her as a friend. "I'm not with Peggy." Steve stressed the not part which made Bucky laugh.

"Anyway, do you wanna do something tomorrow since we don't have practice?"

"I-uh- I actually have plans tomorrow?" Steve blushed which Bucky noticed.

"With who?"

"Someone, " Steve's blush intensified. "I'll see you later Buck, I'm going to be late for class." Steve ran out of the classroom with a goofy smile on his face before Bucky could say anything.
