Tony and Steve had been talking constantly back and forth since their outing with each other. Steve had already finished planning their second date. Steve was going to surprise Tony with a road trip to Manson's Peak, a small mountain in their town that overlooks the city over from them. It was an hour-long drive but the beautiful scenery of being surrounded by nature and overlooking a city skyline made it all worth it.

A couple of hours before Steve picked up Tony, Steve drove up to Manson's Peak and set up a cheesy romantic picnic for them that included vanilla scented candles, a bottle of champagne that Bucky got for Steve, and strawberries. Steve remembered from their last date that Tony absolutely loved white chocolate covered strawberries, he looked everywhere for white chocolate but had no luck finding it anywhere. That was one of the many reasons Steve didn't like living in a small town. The only things in the grocery stores are things that are in high demand. Steve had to drive nearly three hours to get to the closest art supply store. Another thing didn't like was that everybody knew everyone. Steve was friendly with everyone in the town but he really only had Bucky and Natasha. Nat mostly hangs out with Bruce and Clint these days but Steve still thought if her as one of his closest friends.

Bucky, being the great friend he is, texted Steve, who was quite upset about not finding white chocolate, that he could drive over to the city and grab some white chocolate and whatever else he needed. Steve texted back a long list of thanks and offerings of future favors and money in exchange for the trip to the city. Bucky simply texted that Steve had always been there for him and this was only one of the many, many things he owed Steve and to stop texting him thank you's and pick up Tony. Steve smiled at his phone before putting it into his back pocket of his jeans as he stepped out the door to his car.;

It was around 6:30 pm, getting close to sunset, and Steve was on his way to pick up Tony. Steve marveled at the humongous houses as he entered Tony's neighborhood. It was like entering an entirely new, rich, futuristic world. Some houses looked to be the size of the school, others were made out of glass, one even had a whole moat around it with alligators in it and everything.

Steve took out his phone and pulled up the text between him and Tony where Tony was giving him directions to his place. He found where Tony gave him his address and repeated it to himself over and over again before he finally reached a house with the same number combination.

The house was bigger than most of the other houses in the neighborhood. It was more traditional then them as well. It was what looked to be a four-story, classic, upper-class, suburban house with upscale technology scattered throughout the exterior of the house. Steve walked up to the black, steel fence that surrounded the entire house and pressed the glowing blue button on a gray panel that had 'talk' written on it along with thousands of other buttons and switches surrounding it. It made a small buzzing sound before a voice from the end came out.

"Hello?" Tony's voice came out from the speaker.

"It's me, Steve. Are you ready?" Steve asked as he rocked back and forth on his heels.

"Yeah, just let me grab something real quick then I'll be down. Try not to miss me too much Cap." Tony teased through the other side of the speaker.

Steve let out a laugh before replying, "Oh no, I miss you too much. I think I'm gonna die for a broken heart." Steve covered his heart dramatically and pretended to suffer from a heart attack which caused a laugh attack from Tony who could see all of this through the alarm system.

After Tony finally calmed down from his violent fit of laughter that left his cheeks hurting from all the smiling, he ran to his room which was messy from the two weeks of dirty laundry he had yet to wash and billions of pieces of crumpled up pieces of paper that had prototypes and design fails of inventions he had been trying to complete. He looked from the present that he got Steve a couple of days ago. It was a small but very good quality sketchbook that was made for professional artists and a pack of high-end charcoal pencils. Tony was debating on buying Steve something more glamorous like designer shoes or a watch but something about that just didn't seem right to Tony. Steve seemed like the kinda guy who appreciated gifts that required the person on the other side to pay attention and not just to their words but their actions and what they get attracted to. That's what made Tony decide on getting Steve the more meaningful gift.

After a minute or two of totally trashing his room to find the gift, Tony found it placed on his desk which was probably the only thing in his room that wasn't wrecked. Tony quickly grabbed the gift that was placed in a brown lunch bag and decorated by Tony, even though it looked like it was down by a three year old, and raced downstairs to the front gate where Steve was waiting for him.

Steve grinned as he saw the brunette running towards him. He noticed a childishly decorated paper bag in Tony's hand as he got closer. "What's that?" Steve gestured at the bag.

Tony smoked as he handed the bag to Steve who took it, still confused on what it is. "It's a present but you can't open it until I leave."

Steve's grin grew as he studied the bag, feeling it slightly, trying to guess what it could possibly be. "I'll open it right after I drop you off but until then, let's go on our date or we'll be late." Steve said as he took Tony's hand into his own and guided him into his car which looked historic compared to the five flashly, new cars parked outside of Tony's house.

Steve started the engine and turned on the radio to the 80's rock channel which caused Tony to tap his feet and dance to the first song that played. Tony danced in his seat like a maniac which caused both of them to erupt with laughter. After they caught their breath back, Steve turned to Tony and asked, "Ready, punker?"

"As ready as I'll ever be, Mr. Preppy Pants." Tony teased back.
