Frisk's eyes opened. She felt as if she had just hit her head, and to her horror, she was laying on golden flowers with the familiar pillars of the ruins around her.
"No!" She gasped. She sat up, tears welling in her eyes.
"No! This is just a dream!"
And your never waking up =)!
"Chara! Why..."
You don't want to spend time with me? How rude. Don't worry I'll make this very interesting! And suddenly, Frisk was floating in darkness, the shadowy depths pressed around her, seeming to drown her. She looked out of eyes that didn't feel like her own. She turned her head in darkness and saw Chara floating next to her.
"It's my time to shine Frisk!" Chara muses. "Don't worry you'll have front row seats!" Frisk felt herself stand up, but didn't command her body to do so. She definitely wasn't in control.Frisk's body walked to the entrance and looked out and saw Flowey waiting for her.
"Well, you just couldn't stay away could you Frisk?" He says as Chara walks forward. "Frisk?"
"Frisk's gone Flowey." Chara says, a glint in her red eyes.
"Heh, heh, bye!" Flowey disappeared in the earth. Chara chuckled, as Toriel's figure entered the room.
"Oh my!" She gasped as she lays eyes on Frisk, who Chara was controlling. "I'm sorry I did not come sooner, my child. I was busy in
in the ruins."
"It's fine, but who are you?" Chara went along with Toriel's speech.
"Ah, do not be afraid my child. I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. If you follow me, I can guide you through the catacombs." Toriel turned a went out of the room, and Chara followed suit. As Toriel entered the next room, she paused a walked on some buttons that Chara knew activated the door to open.
"Here in the ruins, there are many puzzles. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them." And Toriel continued on. They entered the next room, which had three levers on the wall.
"Here my child. I labeled the ones for you to press. I wonder if you can do it by yourself," Chara looked out from behind Toriel and saw that the levers weren't labeled. "Ah, it seems if the labeling has washed off. Worry not my child, I will merely tell you which ones to pull," Toriel walked up next to a lever and Chara pulled it. "Splendid!" Toriel smiled and walked next to another lever. Chara pulled it. "Excellent my child! I am proud of you!"
"So... Toriel was it?" Chara started. "Are you going to leave me alone." Toriel paused in her movements towards the door.
"What makes you say that, my child?" Toriel says, not looking at Chara.
"Well, why would you make me learn about the ruins if you could just do it for me?"
"You are very clever. And yes, I will eventually leave you. But if you stay put, there is no harm done. Now could proceed?"
"Of course." Chara smiled, as they entered a smaller room with a dummy.
"As a human living in the underground, monsters may attack you. To be prepared for this situation, start up a friendly conversation. Try talking with the dummy." Chara approached the dummy, and took out the stick she brought with her to the underground and slashed at the dummy viciously. The dummy got a slash it in and disappeared.
"Ah, the dummy's are not for fighting! We don't want to hurt anyone do we?" Toriel walks into the next room. Chara stays behind for a moment then followed.
If only you knew Toriel. I'm going to kill anything that comes into my path. Including you.
"You have done excellently thus far my child," Toriel says once they were in a long room. "However, I have a difficult request to ask of you. I need to you walk to the end of this room, by yourself." And she walks off quickly. Chara smiles and races after her, knowing she'll be behind the pillar. Chara peeked around the pillar and saw Toriel hiding behind it. She didn't say anything, so Chara played along and walked in front of the pillar.
"Do not think I left you little one. I was merely behind this pillar the whole time!" Toriel says as she walks from behind the pillar. "But there was an important reason for this excise, to test your independence. You see, I have to leave you for a moment, my child and I need you to stay here." And she dashes off.
Excellent, now we can have some real fun.20 minutes later, Chara was waiting next to the tree, waiting for Toriel who had no shown up yet. She had a toy knife she found in one hand, that was covered with blood and dust. The ruins behind her blows with the dust of her fallen victims. She waits for Toriel, with an evil smile on her face. Suddenly, Toriel appears out of the house, and walks down to Chara.
"Are you hurt innocent one?" Toriel asks, holding Frisk's face in her hands.
"Innocent? Wow, didn't think I'd be called that." Chara says smiling.
"What do you mean, little one?" Toriel asks, relinquishing her hold on Chara. It was then she noticed the knife, dusty and dripping with blood in Frisk's hand. Shock registered on her face.
"Well, it's just that, everyone here is dead except you."
"My child...?"
"We can change that easily, can't we?"
"You don't have to do this!" Toriel shouts, Chara just smiles and enters the battle.
