"Human! I the Great Papyrus, will help you." Papyrus spreads out his arms and the dialogue box reads: *Papyrus is sparing you. Chara approaches closer to Papyrus. "Are you offering a hug of acceptance? Wowie! My lessons are already working!"
"Hmm, you know what I think Papyrus?" Chara says, titling her head slighting to the left. "I think your an idiot," she draws the knife blade and it points at Papyrus. "And I mean seriously, who'd want to be friends with you? You completely clueless. And not helpful for anything. Anything!" She holds the knife back, prepared to make the finishing blow. Papyrus closes his eyes, expecting pain. But it never came. Not to Papyrus at least. But his brother Sans, had lost his 1 HP defense. A bloody slash was cut against his white shirt.
"I...told Frisk that... I'd stop her. I couldn't in the Ruins but. Y'know I think this is fine to. So Frisk, buddy, if your listening... I kept my side of the bargain, it's about time you figure out how to keep yours."
"Sans?" Papyrus asks. "Sans what's-"
"Come bro. Let's go." And he teleports himself and his brother away.So Frisk. Chara says as she enters the save screen. You've been making deals with Sans behind my back have you?
That's right I did! Frisk shoots back. We're not partners anymore Chara! I don't have to share anything with you!
We fell apart after I reset! We were still partners when you lived on the surface with you little "friends".
I didn't need you when I got to the surface with my friends!
Your wrong. Chara holds up her knife. You need me. You can't do anything without me. Your so needy. But I? I don't need anyone. That includes you. I guess I don't need partners who turn out to be traitors.
Chara wait! Frisk says, backing away.
Good-bye, buddy. And she rushes forward to start the fight with Frisk.Papyrus and Sans arrive at the bench in Waterfall. Sans was slung over Papyrus' shoulder.
"Sans? Sans let's go home," Sans didn't say anything. "Sans? Are you asleep?"
"Maybe. Sleep comes to naturally to me I do it with my eyes closed."
"Sans! Now is not the time to be making jokes!"
"...Sorry."
"Sans, why can't we go home?"
"The human might still be there. I don't want you getting hurt bro." The words weren't coming easily to Sans. They were slurred and a dribble of blood was coming from his mouth.
"Sans, it hurts me when your like this! I'm only truly hurt when you are!"
"Paps...I...I wish it could be different..."
"But it can Sans! What if the human turns out to be good?"
"Paps, they tried to kill you."
"Sans I could take it! You know I have more HP then you."
"Papyrus it wouldn't matter! You'd still die!"
"How...do you know?" Sans closes his eyes. He didn't want to answer Papyrus' question. He didn't want to burden his brother with knowing the truth about the resets.
"Paps I can't...can't..."
"Can't what Sans? What can't you do?"
"Can't...tell..."
"Sans are you alright?" No reply. "Don't die on me Sans! Don't you dare!"
"Sorry Paps.... I guess this is the first time I have to disobey the Great Papyrus."
"Sans?" Bits of Sans began to dust, Papyrus began to panic. "Sans please!" Tears began to fall out of his eyes. "Don't die! Don't die! Don't...die...please..."
"Paps." Sans says. "Paps do me a favor."
"Sure Sans! Anything!"
"Stay away from that human. Or whatever the heck it is. Promise me Paps! Okay?"
"Sans..."
"No matter what happens, stay safe okay?"
"But Sans..."
"Promise me!"
"O-okay I promise!" Sans flung his arms around his brother.
"Paps... I love you bro." And Sans disappears with a cloud of dust. A nearby Echo Flower repeats: "Paps... I love you bro." Over and over again. And Papyrus was on his knees, sobbing into his brother's jacket.(Me: -throws feels.-)
