Lukas gave Derek one last look before saying something, "So, you decided to come take care of business yourself?" Lukas half laughed before continuing "Is it because you think we can't do it?" Derek finally faced Lukas, "Indeed. That's exactly what I think. You've failed me multiple times. I think it's time I take over since you idiots can't do it."

Before Lukas could say anything back, Ash had returned with Daoming Si.

Derek smiled at them both and checked out Ash before asking, "Did you enjoy the dance?" Obviously Ash didn't noticed him check her out, but Si did. He was ready to go ballistic on him but since they were at a formal party (and Ash's mother was present) he thought it was best to stay calm. It's hard for him to control his temper but when it has to do with Ash, he'll always try to control it. Ash nodded happily as she held Si's hand, "It was wonderful." She soon realized that she was perhaps a little too happy. That wasn't like her at all. It didn't feel normal. She looked back at him only to find out that he was looking at her too.

For a second it felt as if nobody else was there. Before this, they didn't have feelings for each other, or so they thought. Now that they've danced together, they feel as if maybe they do like each other.

Lei felt horrible. He felt as if he were a bad friend. Having feelings for someone who is not his. Of course, those feelings aren't really there. Perhaps it was best if he just continued liking Jing. Those feelings never went away anyway so why would he change to someone who hasn't even batted an eye to him? He tried telling himself that. Tried saying that she would never like someone like him. Si was more her match. He felt that if he brought himself down, he would be able to move on.

"Ashlyn." Lucinda said sternly. Ash turned to look at her mother. She quickly let go of Si's hand, "Yes, mother?" Lucinda refrained from giving Si a dirty look. She was silent for a few seconds before finally saying something, "Your brother will be here soon. Make sure you greet him." Ash nodded slowly, and then glanced at the entrance. Before Lucinda left, she glanced at both Derek and Si, subtly saying goodbye. Ash looked back at them both, "Excuse me. I'll be back" She fixed her hair and dress before going to the door.

After a few seconds of her standing near the door, she heard footsteps coming towards the room. As expected, it was her brother. He was dressed in an all black suit with slicked back hair. He noticed his tie was a little to the side so he fixed it as he was coming in. He was only 32 but he looked younger. As soon as he came in, heads were turning to look at him.

"Ashlyn!" He said, pulling her in for a hug. "Zane..." Ash quietly responded. She hugged him back lazily. He pulled away and looked at her closely, "You look pretty." Ash rolled her eyes jokingly, "Yeah, thanks."
Zane frowned. Most of the time, he knew that something was wrong with her. This was one of those times. "Something's wrong, am I right?" Zane said, smiling brightly. Ash shook her head quickly, "No, of course not." Zane smirked and looked around. He noticed a group of 3 guys sitting together, a couple being lovey dovey, and Derek. "Oh, Derek's here. Who's he talking to?" Zane took a closer look to the other guy and recognized him almost instantly. "Daoming Si." He said quietly. Ash looked at him, almost wide eyed. Zane smiled at Ash, "So that's the guy?" Before Ash could say anything, Zane was already walking towards him.

"Mr. Daoming." Zane smiled. Si turned to Zane with a puzzled look, "I'm sorry, do I know you?" Zane grabbed a glass of wine and shook his head, "No, but I know you." He took out his hand for a handshake, "My name is Zane Yang. I'm in process of taking over the Yang Co." He smiled at him. Si nodded confidently and shook his hand.

"Zane! Stop bothering him!" Ash yelled as she tried pulling Zane back. Zane was laughing loudly, since he's been drinking quite a bit. Si was laughing as Ash was pulling Zane away. "Come on, It's time to sleep." Ash said as she pulled him out of the room. "Noooo..." Zane yelled out. He couldn't walk straight and almost fell multiple times.

"I'm so sorry for my brother. He can be a handful when he's drunk." Ash sighed. Si was barely listening to her, since he was drunk as well. Ash looked at him and moved hair out of his face. Before she could put her hand down, Si grabbed her hand. "You're so beautiful." He said, staring at her. He smiled lazily. Ash blushed lightly but quickly shook it off. "You should sleep too. Stay the night." She said, standing up. 

Everyone was gone by now, even Si's friends left. Lei, of course, was hesitant of leaving him alone there with Ash. Meizuo and Ximen told him that everything would be fine and that Si could take care of himself. Lei couldn't argue with that and eventually agreed. The big party room was messy and it would take awhile to clean it up. It also didn't help that it was very late at night and because of that, Ash told them that they could clean up tomorrow morning. After all, they have been working all night. 

Si tried standing up but his legs were so weak it was almost impossible. Ash quickly grabbed him by the arm to help him stand up. She moved his arms around her shoulder and pulled him slowly to his room. He wasn't walking properly but he wasn't sliding either. When he finally remembered what happened, he looked at Ash. His temper rose slightly and pushed Ash away, "Let me go woman." When he did, he almost fell but he landed against a wall. "You idiot, are you trying to get hurt?" Ash said as she tried grabbing Si again. 

"I don't want to sleep!" Si yelled out. He sat up again and then touched his forehead, "I feel hot." Ash rolled her eyes and grabbed his hand, "You're fine." He pouted and rubbed her hand softly. "Your hands are very soft." Ash pulled her hand away, "Thanks, but you need to sleep now." Si grabbed her hand again and pulled her closer, "Sleep with me. Kiss me. Love me."
