Chapter 3 (Unexpected Twist)

Professor Snape sat behind his desk quill in hand marking answer sheets. He was struggling to concetrait as his mind kept wondering off to the events of the weeked when he was in Hogsmeat. He kept on thinking of what happened between him and Rinanda about the things she said.

"Professsor Snape!" He heard someone yell as his classroom door got slamed open.

Severus slowly raising his eyes up to the person who had dared to disrupt him. He was about to shout at the rude person but stopped himself as he saw the school care taker Argus Filch standing at the class doorway out of breath.

Severus stood up from his seat comfused as he saw the fear on Agrus's face.

As Professor Snape made his way to Agrus he shot a dark serious look at his students as he plainly but seriously said. "I want you to write a five page essay on what you learned today about the Drought of the Living Death potion. If it's not done by tomorrow you will have a weeks detention. Class dismissed."

The students hurriedly packed away glad that they could finally leave the class and not sit any more longer with their horrible scary git of a professor.

After all the students had scattered out of the class Severus focused his cold gaze on Agrus urging him to speak.

Agrus still had fear lingering on his face. "I was outside checking the grounds like I usually do but then I came across someting frightening. I emmediatly came here afterwards to report it to you."

Severus crossed his arms and growled unhappily. "And why did you not report to the Headmaster like you should have?"

Agrus looked up at Severus.  "Because you are the only one who would understand what I saw."

Pinching the bridge of his nose Severus demanded Agrus to lead the way to where he wanted him to go.

They walked through the school making their way outside, then carried on moving forward until they reached the forbiden forest.

Agrus stopped in his tracks and pointed with a knuckled finger at the woods. "I heard it coming from in there, was not something I ever heard before. Too scared to go in myself and not sure if Headmaster would be pleased if I went in without permission."

Severus concetraited his beady black eyes on the forestry trees infront of him then told Agrus to wait for him untill he had returned from the woods.

Professor Snape entered the woods his black wand raised and his steps gentel being carefull to not make a noise, not wanting to draw unnecessary attention to himself.

Once he entered the woods far enough he stopped and waited, straining his ears to listen for any abnormal sounds.

First it started off soft but then it slightly grew louder. He heard wailing, like a child crying at the top of their lungs.

He gulped and started heading towards the wailing preparing himself for any sort of attacks.

As he approuced the wailling his eyes suddenly caught sight of something small lying on the dirty ground nearby a tree. He could not see what it was because a pink blanket stained with blood covered it.

As he was about to get closer to it he saw a body lying not too far away from the wailling thing.

Severus stepped closer to the body and with a slight kick of his foot turned the body around sothat he could see the face of the person.

His eyes widened when he looked down apon a young woman round about the age of 27. Her light blue eyes stared up at him unblinking. Her raggedy dark blue dress stained in her own crimson red blood.

Severus knew right then that the woman was long dead and with the flick of his wand he lifted her up into the air causing her to float besides him.

He then headed over to the thing bundled up in a blanket. Severus bended down and picked it up stradeling it in his one arm. With his free hand he slowly pulled the blanket open revealing a tiny little baby.

Severus was beyond shocked, what were they doing here inside this forest.

Clutching tightly onto the child Severus dashed back towards Agrus. When Agrus came into view Severus yelled. "Get Albus! Get Minerva and bring me Poppy! NOW!"

Agrus didn't need to be told twice he sprinted off back towards the school.

Closing his eyes Severus sighed trying to piece everything togheter.

😊 I got this idea for the story while sketching Severus Snape holding a baby girl. As you see I even used it for this Chapter.

😱 But I really do feel sorry for the poor lady who Severus found dead. You will properly be wondering who did it to them but that will be a suprise for later.

The baby girl and the dead lady are my own characters the same goes for Lilith Potter and Rinanda Hooch.

This Chapter was very short but I'd write more on my next Chapter.
