Chapter 8 (Recovery)

Lilith finaly awoke, she felt little bit of pain but it wasn't bad. She gazed around her, her eyes landing on Rinanda her Professor. Rinanda was holding a sleeping baby, the same baby her father held the other day.

Rinanda looked at Lilith with a relieved expression. "Finally you are awake. I was so worried, you were out cold for a whole week and a halve. Poppy kept on cleaning you and healing you but never have I seen so much blood come from such a tiny person. For a moment I thought you were a goner."

Lilith's cat Gildra that lay on her legs all curled up crawled over towards Lilith and licked her cheek purring worriedly.

Lilith stopped a moment to wrap her mind around what has happened. Her eyes widened. "What!....I've been out cold for a whole week and a halve?!"

"Calm down child. You are alright now and soon you will be able to catch up your work but you don't understand that you were seriously hurt." Rinanda said with a calmed tone one that she didn't feel.

Poppy appeared from behind a curtain holding an ice pack. Poppy's red apron and white dress had a bit of blood stains on and Lilith could see by Poppy's face that she barely had much sleep.

Poppy walked over towards Lilith placing the ice pack on Liliths forehead. "Lilith dear I want you to stay down and rest. You had several broken bones but I healed them. And your body needs to recover its strentgh that it lost. I recovered as much of your blood that you lost and as far your blood pressure is slowly returning to normal. Right now I am just waiting for your high tempreture to break and return you to normal health."

A few seconds later hurried footsteps could be heard and soon enough a worried Professor Snape sat on his knees gazing down at his daughter, clutching her sweaty palm in his.

"How are you feeling?" Severus said his voice wavering.

Lilith smiled at her father. "I feel alright. I didn't mean to scare any of you."

Severus pressed his forehead aginst his daughter's. "I know you didn't mean it but.....I never want to witness that agian. Damn it...I nearly lost you again. I can't....I can't live a life on my own again. Life was depressing as it was but now.... I have a perpose again."

Poppy left the room tears glistering in her eyes at the emotions that were sparking between Severus aand his daughter. Yes Poppy had recently found out by Severus the truth of who Lilith really was. She promised she'll tell no one, Severus desirved happiness in his life.

Poppy had heard by Minerva that she, herself, Albus, Rinanda and Quirrel knew the trueth of Lilith. Ofcours Draco had a hunch but it didn't count.

Rinanda sat and watched Severus father over his daughter. She could see that the two had a strong bond. Thats the whole reason why Rinanda had found a liking in the professor, he was diffrent then the men she had ever met in her life time.

The next day Lilith was told that she was fine and that she may go get ready for school again. Lilith was so happy that she could leave that dull white room that she was surrounded by.

With her cat in her arms she headed to her Slytherin house dormitory.

"You do know what actually happend during that Quiditch match don't you Lilith?" Gildra asked prring.

Lilith nodded. "I have a hunch that it could have been the work of Professor  Quill. That he setted everything up, seeing as he has been trying to kill me."

"Don't worry Lilith from now on I am not leaving your side. I will allow no one to harm you." Gildra said protectively.

Lilith smiled and stroked the cats fur. "Don't worry there is no way that I am letting my gaurds down from now on."
