Saving minds and winning ties

Today was the school sports festival. How fun and exciting. "Whoa, what is all of this? Everything looks so colorful snd amazing. Oh, there's a student who has a chocolate bar inside of her pocket. Oh, up there is Aizawa and President Mic. Should I-", Midoriya was talking to himself. Again.

"Dude, can you like uh... stop whatever you're doing... please?", Kaminari said as the class 1-A stepped into the stadium. "Huh?", Midoriya slowly turned around to look at Kaminari. "Did I do something wrong already?", Midoriya asked. Kaminari chose not to answer that.

"Don't sorry Midoriya! He was just saying we all feel the same way!", Toru said cheerfully. "Oh, thanks for the information Hagakure Toru", Midoriya said smiling at her statement.

"Representing the students is... Midoriya Izuku!", Midnight said.
"Why wasn't I informed this? Not that I'm trying to be disgraceful or anything", .Midoriya muttered to himself again quietly.

Mumurs from other hero courses were heard as Midoriya walked onto the podium.

"Why is he annoucing the speech?"

"Hey! Isn't that the 0 second guy who destroyed the robots no problem at the entrance exam?"

"Heard he got points from saving someone too..."

Midoriya cleared his throat on purpose to get everybody's attention.
"I will...", he started. The class held their breathe. "...save minds and make winning ties", he said shortly.  More murmurs. "What does that mean?", someone hiss whispered at their friends. "It means exactly what it means", Midoriya said to the student. "He heard me!", the student squeeked. Midoriya said nothing as he stepped down from the podium as he muttered something about humans murmuring too much.

"All right, now we got that covered... we'll announce the first event of the sports festival", Midnight exclaimed. 'Oh, what joy', Midoriya thought.

The randomizer or whatever the screen thing was called landed on something called "Obstacle race". An obstacle race for the first even? More joy, yay. If only that were true...

"The first is... the obstacle race!", Midnight said. 'I already coded myself at a place just before the finish line', Midoriya thought. 'This should be easy', he smirked at the thought.

"On your marks... get set... go!", Midnight said. Midoriya time skipped to his coded area and crossed the finish line. "WHAT? IS THIS KID FOR REAL?", President Mic yelled at Midoriya. Midoriya looked up and met everybody's eyes and calmly said to himself....

"I won"

"THE WINNER OF THE OBSTACLE TRACK IS... MIDORIYA IZUKU!", President Mic yelled. The crowd was caught of off guard for a moment by confusion.... and then they cheered. Midoriya could imagine the complaints of the students right now.

"Damn you teleporting extra, damn you!", Bakugo said to Midoriya. "Can you like... I don't know... not call me an "extra". Cause I prefer being called "Tumi" then anything else you would call me", Midoriya said.

"Huh? Are you a girl trying to be like a boy?", Bakugo asked with a straight face while frowning a little. "DOES EVERYBODY HAVE THE TODOROKI DISEASE NOW!?", Midoriya yelled. "My disease? What is tha-", "Nothing Todoroki Shouto!! Please ignore what I said", Midoriya said a little embarrassed. In some other timelines or universes Todoroki claims his theory of Midoriya being All Might's secret love child with a straight face. You can see why Midoriya called it 'Todoroki disease'.

Anyways back to Todoroki he was confused as hell but shrugged it off and left Midoriya alone.

The next school sports festival event was some kind of point catching. And of course Midoriya had the most points because he won the obstacle race. Honestly... this... was... going... to... be... very...
