"Guys, is it just me or do my parents sound.... responsible?"
"I know dude it's so weird, it's almost like they weren't tech stealing, child murdering fools that thought it would be a good idea to bring a few dozen immature teenagers into an alternate dimension filled to the brim with dangerous beast that literally eat children for breakfast, from there perspective. They totally seem responsible." Came Tucker's totally honest and serious reply.
A snort of laughter comes from Valerie's seat a few rows ahead.
"Jeez Folly, you may not be wrong but at least be quite."
"You can't silence me, and you can't silence the truth."
"Hey Tuck, isn't the saying 'you Can silence me but you can't silence the truth'"
"Sam. When has anybody ever silenced Tuck."
"Good point. He doesn't know when to shut up and even when he does know he doesn't do it."
*Gasp* "Danny! I feel so betrayed. How could you be so heartless. And you have no room to talk. You and your stupid puns are as infinite as pie."
"Oh oh oh I got one. Come to dork side, young one. We have pie, and it's infinite."
"Where is the off switch!?"
"A man with a horrible sense of humor once said 'You can't silence me, and you can't silence the puns.'"
"Danny! Do I need to yeet myself out that window and into the endless void to escape your puns? Cause that's my current thought process."
"Man if it's that bad I suppose I should stop. Though I'm kinda surprised. I never really pegged you as the one in the group to be void of a sense of humor."
*sigh*
