CHAPTER 21

It was around 6 P.M., Mark was in front of Mia's house,waiting for her.Suddenly the door opened and instead of Mia, came out his brother; Alan.

"So you are Mark." Screamed Alan.

"Yes,I am Mark,and who are you?" He asked.

"I'm Mia's older brother." He answered.

"Nice to meet you bro,and where is your sister?" Asked Mark.

"In her room, I didn't allow her to come out,because first, I have to see what kind of a guy you are to allow her to go on a date with." Clarified Alan.

"Well, I am here, so what do you want to know about me?" Mark took a deep breath "And yes, I love your sister, so means, I won't hurt her."

"Oh boy. You love her today and then love someone else the other day. That's how it is nowadays." Clarified Alan.

"I'm not like the other guys!" He screamed.

"I don't believe you,but there is one thing, Mia thinks that I hate her, but I care about her more, than I care about my own self.So I don't want her to get hurt. I will let her come today, I would like to give you a chance, but I don't trust you. And bring her back home until 12 A.M" Mark said nothing,just nodded with his head. Suddenly Alan started calling for Mia. She ran out of the house and smiled to Alan.

"I heard everything, This is the first time in my life, that I tell you, thank you, Alan!" Then she nodded to Mark, he opened the car's door and she got in his car.Mark and Alan shook hands and Alan went inside to the house.Mark waited a bit, then opened the door to sit in his car and then drove to Modesto restaurant. 

He kept the door open for Mia to enter inside the restaurant, then the server came, Mark winked and he showed them their table, they followed him and sat.

"What do you want to eat?" Mark asked her.

"I don't really know, honestly, I am not hungry, but if we are going to drink some wine, I would prefer to eat berry cake." Answered Mia.

"Alright, sir, bring us a berry cake and our wine." The server wrote down his orders.

"Thanks for today." Smiled Mia.

"Thank you for coming too" Smiled Mark back.Though Mia was so surprised from Mark's behavior. "Well Mia, I love you, that's all I wanted to tell you" Said Mark when the server poured some wine for them.

"Mark, I have feelings for you too.Since, you talked to my brother, we have a chance to build a relationship" Murmured Mia.

"I like, when people understand me." Smiled Mark.

After their dinner, Mark took her to her house.

Day by day, Mark and Mia got closer. Alan and Mia started to become a real family.

Aria and Nathan's relationship grew bigger as Leo and Amelia's relationship.

Gabriela kept her baby.Aria, Carmen, and her mother; Regina, helped her with the pregnancy.

So, everything seemed pretty natural and happy...
