Chapter Thirteen - Shut your piehole.

Kia's P.O.V 

"Ugh! Julian! Get off me you fat pig!" Kezzy screamed from beneath him.

I laughed. The week had flown by, Mason and I were still together. Fake of course.

My feelings for him have grown over the past week. I find everything he does 'cute' and I hate to say it, but that stupid voice in my head was right.

Stupid Voice.

It was Friday night and we were having a movie night at Julian's.

Hercules.

Edge Of Tomorrow.

And Blended.

"Guys shut up!" I yelled. Smacking them behind their heads.

"Well aren't you cranky without your other half?" Julian said, wiggling his eyebrows.

I glared at him, "Shut your piehole and start the damn movie."

He chuckled and put in Hercules.

*2 Hours Later*

"Let's skip Edge of Tomorrow." Kezzy yawned, "I'm tired."

"You know what? Let's skip all the movies. 'Night." she said.

She snuggled up against Julian, he put his arm around her and she pushed her face in his neck.

I eyed them suspiciously. Hey Voice? You seem to know everything. What's with them? I asked.

Yes, I do know everything. But they will tell you in time. Voice responded, sounding like Dr. Phil.

I rolled my eyes.

I put in Blended and clicked play.

Halfway into the movie, a text came in.

'Hey Babydoll. Are you awake?'
–Mason

I grinned like a fool at his message. My heart warmed and butterflies erupted.

'No, I'm sky diving'
–Kia

I smirked as another message came almost instantly.

'Don't get smart with me, Kitten.'
–Mason

'What's Up?'
–Kia

Ten seconds later a text came. Yes, I counted.

'I miss you.'
–Mason

My cheeks heated up at his text. He...misses me?

I internally squealed. At this point, I'm not even paying attention to the movie.

'You do?'
–Kia

Five seconds later.

'No. I'm being funny :D'
–Mason

'*scowl* Shut up.'
–Kia

'Great comeback -.-'
–Mason

I laughed, 'I'm going to bed Mason, goodnight.'

I shut off the movie and cuddled up on the couch next to Julian and Kezzy.

'Aw, babydoll, don't be that way.'
–Mason

I smiled, 'What do you want?'

'See? I knew you couldn't stay away for long.'
–Mason.

I laughed out loud, and Kezzy stirred next to me.

That boy is going to be the death of me someday.

My grave is gonna have 'Killed by Mason Small's charm and good looks'.

Mason's P.O.V

I was texting Kia while lying in bed.

I'll admit it, I miss her. I really do.

Something about her makes me feel...happy?

I don't know.

Her smile makes me want to smile. Her laugh makes me want to laugh.

'Shut up. What are you doing?'
–Kia

I smiled. 'Thinking about you ;)'

I hit send. It wasn't a lie.

I was thinking about her.

I do almost every day.

Every second of the day.

Kia isn't your average everyday girl and I want her to be mine.

'Psh, like I'm gonna believe that -.-'
–Kia

'But its true...'
–Mason

'Goodnight Mason :) smh.'
–Kia

'Goodnight babydoll :*
Don't dream too much about me ;)'
–Mason

She didn't reply after that.

I've come to a conclusion. A simple one.

It didn't take me long to realize, that, I like Kia.
