"DOLORES BEAUREGARDE, YOU BETTER BE UP RIGHT NOW! SCHOOL STARTS IN 15 MINUTES!" A faint voice screamed from downstairs, sending Dolores's eyes flickering open in horror.
"Oh no..." She mumbled before throwing off the covers, rolling off her bed and slamming face down into the floor. "Son of a NUTCRACKER!" Dolores mumbled before pushing herself back to her pudding like legs. "And this" She began. "Is why I hate Mondays" The girl sighed before rubbing her head and throwing on her baby pink seabrook school uniform.
"Hi by the way, I'm Dolores, as you probably heard" She smiled, gesturing to the stairs outside her bedroom door. "Anyways, I moved here to Seabrook about a month ago so my parents can get a fresh view for a change in contrast to Manhatten, although they weren't to happy, or should I say horrified, to hear that the school here allows Zombies everywhere" Dolores sighed before waltzing into the bathroom. "Great right!? Oh and if you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm. It's definitely awful. I mean, who wants to walk in a school filled to the brim with rotting zombies. But anyways, after what felt like weeks of begging, i'm finally going to get to attend Seabrook High school in order to FINALLY graduate and get hiking onto a new life and career. I was thinking of being a neurological surgeon" She smiled before happily pulling her baby pink brush through her blonde hair. "A.K.A. Brain surgeon. I mean, heart surgeon sounds fun too, but I like to think big I guess" Dolores laughed before shaking her head around to get herself a naturally messy look.
"Dolores, c'mon!" Her mother yelled from downstairs, causing the girl to blink out of her daydream and race downstairs to see her mother and a bowl of cereal sitting on the table.
"Hey Mom, sorry, guess it's the Monday air getting to me" Dolores smiled before sitting down in front of the bowl.
"Or, it's a sign that you shouldn't go" Her Mom sighed.
"Mom-"
"Listen honey, are you sure, I mean REALLY sure you want to attend Seabrook!? It's filled with a bunch of Monsters, which should be impossible by the way"
"I know, but I'm so close to being done with school." Dolores replied with a head shake, before lifting her hand up in a half way It's-Good sign. "I'm this close to graduating, this close to getting into the cheer squad, and this close to moving out! Nothing is stopping me now! Not even if I have to fight my way through the apocalypse to do it"
"I know, it's just-"
"No Just's Mom" She cut in with a smile. "Relax, i'm going to be fine, perfectly fine. Spell it out for me please"
"P.E.R.F.E.C.T.L.Y" Her Mom retorted with an eye roll.
"I'll see you after school, K?"
"Sure, just make sure to avoid, you-know-what's"
"Already ahead of you Mom, see ya later" Dolores smiled before waving her goodbye and escaping out the door. "Finally on my way, aren't we Dolores" She suddenly smiled before skipping off with a wide smile.

☆。*。☆。"Wow..." Dolores mumbled as she stood a few feet from the Seabrook highschool double glass doors. "This place is certainly" She paused before watching two green haired zombie girl's pass by. "Something..."
"Well, what you get is what you get...Just gotta get through this year with no drama" Dolores mumbled before pushing open the school doors to be met with the sweet scent of Vanilla. The hallways were crowded with dozens of people and buzzing with noise upon noise, making her suddenly feel incredibly uncomfortable. Slowly walking in, she made sure to shut the door behind her before quickly racing off down a much emptier forking hallway to find the principal. "Um, excuse me!" She called to a nearby tall boy with dark black hair. "Do you know where I can find the principals office?"
"Oh yeah I do" The boy replied before turning around to look at her with a wide pearly smile. "Bucky and i'm guessing you're new, cause I've never seen you here before"
"Ha, guilty" Dolores awkwardly laughed with a shrug. "I'm Dolores"
"Nice to meet you Dolores, Oh, and the Principals office is down the hall, to the left and first door on your right" The boy smiled again before gently shaking her hand. "Good meeting you Dolores"
"You too Bucky" Dolores smiled before walking off the way he had said.
After a snappy walk around, Dolores hastily barged into the principals office with a faint smile before closing the door behind her and sitting down. "Hi, um you must be-"
"Principal Lee, yes, and you must be Miss Dolores Beauregarde, the transfer student" The woman sighed, not taking her eyes off her computer screen. "I've been expecting you, please sign this sheet of paper and you will receive your school schedule and locker number"
"Um, OK" Dolores mumbled before watching the woman slide a few papers across the table to her, her eyes still stuck to the screen. Looking down at the top paper, the girl began to quickly scan over it with vague interest.

"Yes, in the event of a Z-Attack though. If this just generally happens, we have you covered"
Ms. Lee replied before clicking her computer mouse, creating a card shuffling noise from the computer indicating she must be playing some online solitaire."Riiiiiiight..." Dolores sarcastically smiled before scratching her name on the bottom with a
ball-point pen. "Would that be all or, would there happen to be a separate sheet for the ghost attacks too?""That will be all Miss Dolores, you may-DANGIT" She suddenly frowned, before clicking her mouse again. "Always with Baberaham-Lincoln13! How does she always get a higher score!" The principal muttered before shooing the girl away. "You may leave"
