I woke up to the sound of coughing. I looked over at my alarm clock and it read 2:48 am. I noticed my boyfriend, Todd Gurley wasn't in bed next to me, so I turned my bedside lamp on and got up to look for him. As I left the bedroom I noticed the bathroom light was on, so I walked over to it and saw my boyfriend kneeled down in front of the toilet with his head down.
"You okay honey?" I asked and went over to sit next to him. I placed a hand on his back and started rubbing it. He sniffled "Sick. I woke up about 20 minutes ago because I didn't feel good, I just threw up." He barely choked out before he got sick again. I continued to rub his back and hold his hair back whenever he got sick. We stayed in the bathroom for a few more minutes before he said he felt well enough to go back to bed.
I helped him up and held his hand as we walked back to the bedroom. He laid down in bed as I turned the bedside lamp off and put the covers over him. He laid his head on my chest as I played with his hair. "My poor baby." I cooed. "I'll call coach McVay in the morning and tell him you're not feeling well enough for practice, okay?" I said and he nodded. "Goodnight Y/N." He said and drifted off to sleep. "Night baby."
I woke up and Todd wasn't next to me, but I heard the TV on downstairs. Before I got out of bed I made a quick call to his coach telling him that he wouldn't be there today. I headed downstairs and he was on the couch with a bowl of cereal in his hands. "Morning beautiful." He said. I smiled and sat down next to him. "Morning honey, how are you feeling?" I asked. "My stomaches better, but my head is killing me and I have a fever." He said. "Well I just called your coach and told him you wouldn't be there today, so why don't you just relax today, take it easy. I had plans for today but I cancelled them so I could take care of you." I told him and he smiled. "You're the best." He said and gave me a hug.
Todd and I spent the day cuddled up on the couch watching movies. I went out after breakfast and got him medicine, which seemed to work. By 9 that night he seemed all better. He hadn't thrown up since last night, his fever was down and he still had a little headache but not as bad as it was this morning. He would be all ready for practice tomorrow.
"Thank you so much for taking care of me today, sweetheart. You're the best, I love you so much." He said. "It was my pleasure, I'm just glad you're feeling better. I'll always take care of you when you're sick, I love you." I said and planted a kiss on his lips.
Sick days do suck, but they can also be fun, especially if it means I get to spend the day with my boy.
A/N I hope you liked your imagine babe😚😚 Sorry it took me so long to write it, I've had writers block since I got home from Iceland, I'll have your other one out soon!!
I love Todd Gurley so much and the whole rams team, but they really got 1-800-E X P O S E D last night vs. the Bears. Did anyone watch that game??? Todd had 11 carries for 28 yards, and Jared Goff had 4 interceptions and they lost. Notttt goodddd.. Especially because I've been rooting for them all season to get the first seed in the NFC, I cannot have New Orleans get the first seed. If they get home field throughout the playoffs they are going right into that super bowl, and it's in Atlanta where they're used to playing because they play there once a year.
Someone please help me!!! I had to watch the Eagles win last year, the Patriots win the year before and the Broncos beat my Panthers the year before that!!! I can't watch the Saints win this year!!! The team I want to win never does ughhhh.
Anyways what are y'alls super bowl predictions??? I got either the Rams or the Saints (whoever gets home field) vs the Chargers or Chiefs. I had the Chiefs going 100% but I just don't know anymore now that they cut Hunt and Patrick Mahomes is so young and still inexperienced, I just can't say for sure if I think they'll make it all the way. They're very dominant at home and as it looks right now they'll have home field advantage, but the Chargers are also very good on the road so you never know.
I do not think the Pats will get back there, they can't win on the road, plain and simple, and Tom Brady isn't what he once was. And if they do end up going I don't give them a shot at winning, the NFC is much more dominant than the AFC this year (and every year if we're being honest) and New Englands' defense is not good, and both the Rams and New Orleans have very explosive offensives and one has DREW BREES sooo.. New Orleans is also a very different team on the road than they are at home so that's why I say whoever gets home field in the NFC will go.
Anyways sorry I'm ranting now but hope y'all enjoyed this imagine and DM me if you want me to write you one :)!!!
