Playoff Losses ~ Joey Bosa (LA Chargers)

I kicked my feet around as I waited outside the Chargers locker room. I was waiting for my boyfriend, Joey Bosa to finish showering/changing so we could head back to our hotel before the team flew home to LA tomorrow. 

The Chargers just finished the divisional playoff game vs the Patriots, and let's just say it did not end how we wanted it to. The final score was 41-28, and it was quite ugly. The team got off to a very rough start, and it just went downhill from there. I knew Joey was gonna be really upset about it, so I was mentally preparing myself for a rough night. (Not in a kinky/sexual way lmaooo)

Players started coming out, and finally I saw my boy. He saw me, smiled and walked over. "Hey baby." He said and wrapped me up in a hug. "Hi." I said as I buried my head in his chest. "Good game, you played well." I said as we broke apart. "Obviously not good enough." He said. I gave him a stern look. He knows I hate when he criticizes himself. "But thanks babe." He said. 

We hopped on the team bus that took us back to our hotel. I offered to carry his backpack upstairs, trying to relieve any stress he had, but he said it was okay. When we got to our room he threw his bag on the floor and face planted into the bed. 

"Man, playoff losses suck." He mumbled into the pillow. "I know." I said as I sat next to him and rubbed his back. "I'm sorry baby." He flipped himself over. "It's okay. We'll get em back next year." He said and winked. "That you will." I said as I played with his hair. 

I went to take a shower and when I got out Joey was face first again on his pillow. "Cmon bum, let's watch a movie or something to get your mind off this." I said as I grabbed the TV remote. "Or something." He said with a smirk. "You freak." I said as we both laughed. 

I turned on a movie on Netflix and cuddled up with him under a blanket. It was freezing in New England. "We should do something when we get home, to help take your mind off this for awhile." I said. "Like what?" He asked. I shrugged. "Go on a trip or something. My treat to you for working your ass off this season." I said. He smiled, "I would love that." He said as he leaned down to kiss my head. 

*Time skip*

Joey and I spent a few days at home, then left for Hawaii for a week. That vacation was exactly what he needed. It was so relaxing and tons of fun, definitely took his mind off that bad playoff loss. 

"Good thing this time next year we wont have to go through this again, cause we'll be in the super bowl." He said, as we laid on our private balcony outside our room. I smiled, "With confidence like that how could you not be. You guys had a great season babe, really really awesome. I'm sorry it ended the way it did, but I know you're all going to come back even stronger next year. I can't wait to see you play in a super bowl one day."

Playoff losses are tough, we all know that, but if you're anything like Joey Bosa, you're already looking forward to a super bowl run next year. 

A/N I hope you enjoyed!! I'm actually working on another Bosa story rn, not requested, just something I wanted to write. I started it a few weeks ago but never finished it, someone please give me motivation to finish that thing because it's so dang cute :////

Anyways this is random and weird but have any of y'all ever seen Joey's pictures from college? Because I swear he looked like the BIGGEST fuck boy in college and idk why but literally EVERY TIME I look at pictures of him from college all I can think about is how big of a player he looked like!!!! 

It's the hair, it's DEFINITELY the hair. He looks so different in these than in the one I used as the header LMAOO

Also babe went to Ohio State and that's my dream college!!!
