Note: This chapter has a little taste of Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. It came one well I was writing so...yeah. Also, baking cupcakes with a couple of my friends for an entire day is another inspiration. I put a lot of personal life events in my writing honestly XP! Also, we get to see my favorite Marvel Character :3!

ENJOY!

Later that night Steve entered your room to find you still stubbornly curled into a ball underneath the hole in the wall. The room was once again in shambles with the clock on your nightstand sparking and the TV on the floor twisted into a mere piece of spiraled metal.

"Hey..." Steve said softly.

"I don't want to talk." You snarled, your voice muffled by your arms.

"I know that's why I'm going to do most of the talking," He sighed as he sat down on your bed, "I just wanted to say I'm really sorry about Thor he's...not very smart and very protective of his teammates."

"He, like most of us are just a bit confused about this new scenario. Ya know inviting a new teen into the tower who is just as confused as everyone else."

"I'm not fucking confused I'm not fucking scared I just want to take control of my life!" You said picking your head up.

Your scar was glowing bright red as you glared at him with anger.

"Well first off language, and second I get it-"

"No, no you don't GET IT. Living with the blood on your hands of loved ones. Of innocent people! So no, Steve Rogers, you don't fucking understand!" You hissed.

"Just...wait a couple of days. I promise you'll be better adjusted to us and a new environment. I'll give you space okay?"

You didn't respond but your glare let up a little.

"G'night. If I don't see you at breakfast around 8:30 I'll leave some at your door." Steve said on his way out.

He closed the door on his way out for you.

First Person POV

I sat in the same spot for what seemed like hours after Steve left. I fell asleep on the floor so my body was a little achy. Especially since I woke up after a nightmare. As always.

My mind focused on that until the guilt from last night came back. I felt bad for snapping at him but I just wanted to be alone to keep myself from hurting him. I heard a gentle tapping.

Tap!

Tap!

Tap!

I glanced at the giant windows, water droplets were splattering against the window dripping down leaving little trails behind.

My eyes widened as I recognized it as rain.

I unfurled and rushed over to the windows gazing out as a child would. I pressed my hand to the glass feeling the slight chill of the outside conditions. I ignored all thoughts and put on a slip-on pair of shoes and a jacket before rushing out of the room.

I ran past Wanda who was curious about what I was doing. Tony was calling my name but I ignored him as I arrived at the elevator. As soon as I pressed the button it opened and I slid inside.

I pressed the ground floor button repeatedly with excitement rushing through my veins.

Rain.

Glorious rain.

I haven't felt the rain in 10 years.

As soon as it stopped I ran out to the sidewalk. No one was on the streets except for the auto traffic.
